March 22, 200917 yr What steps do you take before you brush your teeth? My friends think this is strange but I put water on my toothbrush first, then put the toothpaste on. I always use cold water as well. Alot of people seem to put their toothpaste on first and then put water on the toothbrush and toothpaste. I don't like this method because of the increased risk of accidently washing the toothpaste off your brush before it gets to your mouth. seriously?
March 22, 200917 yr Last dentist appointment they told me my brushing has improved haha. my teeth were plaque free :D:D:D:D:D:D and no cavities....:smug:
March 22, 200917 yr Yeeeeeah. That's what that's for. ...Wait. Claw thing? o_O Don't you know the little rubber thing at the end of the handle on some of the old-fashioned ones? I think it's just a glorified toothpick, actually. :laugh3:
March 22, 200917 yr ^^^ Ahhh. Gotcha. ^ No, not on the end of the handle. Like on the back of the top of the toohbrush, on the other side of the bristles, there's ridges and stuff that serve as a tongue cleaner.
March 22, 200917 yr Like this, you mean?: Unless if you want to get fancy and go for something like below, which I think just seems troublesome :uhoh::
March 22, 200917 yr ^^ Oh no, it doesn't at all. The problem I have is trying to reach farther back on my tongue, and it makes me go into a gag reflex. Meh.
March 22, 200917 yr Water on the brush, water in the mouth to do some sort of pre-wash, toothpaste on the brush, push the button to start the toothbrush vibrations, wash the brush again and brush the teeth with the brush with just water, before another lot of water in the mouth to get rid of any objects. Floss is evil when it breaks off in between your teeth. OH MY GOD, I KNOW, RIGHT? Every time I try to floss it seems like it breaks and gets stuck in my teeth. And sometimes it gets stuck and I can't get it out and then later I'll be eating breakfast or something and I'll accidentally swallow it. You can all start feeling sorry for me now. Go ahead. i don't even want to know what kind of cheap, crap floss you use. Mine definitely won't break! I think a tongue cleaner would tickle too much. tickling sucks, man! Everything tickles me, tongue cleaners, however, don't. Although i don't use them 'cause i think they're pretty useless.
March 22, 200917 yr No water at any stange. Only to clean the brush. Not even to rinse my mouth with!!
March 22, 200917 yr i don't even want to know what kind of cheap, crap floss you use. Mine definitely won't break! It only breaks occasionally, and because I'm really bad at flossing. And in honesty I've only swallowed it once. :P I am guilty once more of exagerating extravegantly.
March 22, 200917 yr ^^ Oh no, it doesn't at all. The problem I have is trying to reach farther back on my tongue, and it makes me go into a gag reflex. Meh. Yeah, when I clean my tongue I have the same problem!
March 22, 200917 yr water, toothpaste, sometimes water again, then brush. i don't floss ever, really, but i've become a good mouthwash user, which gets the same job done for the most part. i'm neurotic about brushing my teeth: i HAVE to do it before i go to sleep, no question. otherwise i just feel gross. and i've never had a cavity, so i think i'm doing ok :D
March 22, 200917 yr No water at any stange. Only to clean the brush. Not even to rinse my mouth with!! chris that's.....weird. but you should vote that in the poll! the no water one
March 22, 200917 yr call me weird but i've always put the toothpaste on the brush, then the water lol
