April 5, 200917 yr My cousin just told me that his wife's sister's brother is Chris Martin's Cousin. I am so excited. I hope I can meet him some day. :) So technically he is not MY cousin, but its close. Just had to tell spme people! Wait I am confused about how you are related to him. Especially the wife's sisters brother. Wouldn't your cousin's wife's sister's brother be your cousin's wife's brother? I mean aren't you adding too many degrees of separation. The brother of your cousin's wife's sister would have to be the brother of your cousin's wife right? Its even simpler than that - the cousin's wife is Chris Martin's cousin. For is to be the wife's sister's brother means that the cousin's wife is also the sister of the brother. and if the brother is Chris Martin's cousin, then the 2 women are as well.

I wrote that Chris Martin is related to me because I wanted people to read the thread. So sorry for any trouble I caused. I just thought it was cool that he is cousins with my cousin's wife's sister's husband. I thought that it was very wierd because I LOVE Coldplay, and their lead singer is in my family. :)

My grandmothers first cousin was Rosemary Clooney (famous singer in the 50's...starred in The Poseidon Adventure...etc....not exactly cool buuuuuut..... She IS the aunt of George Clooney. We're related by marriage as well, not by blood.

April 6, 200917 yr because of this thread I had a dream last night that I just found out by accident that my grandmother was also chris' grandmother :D well in my dream I didn't think further that this would mean that chris is my cousin but I peppered my grandma with questions about it and I was like :shocked2: but my grandma was just like "oh upps I've never told you before?" :laugh3: awww I wish I'd be true :cry2:
