Apparently Chris is overrated!

Featured Replies

In my opinion Chris voice live is even much more better then the recorded one!! Sometimes he has some problem, but I think it's rather normal ... he's human!!

:D

Has this f**** writer ever seen Chris singing on live???

These frickin buttheads have no lives and have never probably heard this man sing! You want an overrated singer? How about Kanye West or some other person I can't think of right now! This is really pssing me off! What a bunch of jerks! What the rooting fuzzy, dude! WTR!

:veryangry2::veryangry2::beadyeyes::censored::veryangry2::veryangry2:

Kanye West isn't OVERrated, though, because nobody in any semblance of their right mind would rate him as GOOD at singing. He's a freaking RAPPER. Rappers SPEAK, they don't SING.

One cannot be overrated if nobody thinks they are good.

What is this man on about? Chris has an amazing voice live, obviously the blogger has never been to a Coldplay concert... Granted, Chris does jump and dance around a lot during shows but thats just him performing and being energetic, which is fine by me. It fits with the newer songs. And I dont think it takes away from his vocal performance that much at all, definitely not enough to warrant him a place on an "overrated voices" list. People really hate him...

And what the hell is Bono doing on this list?

well fuck that article. :dozey:.

My sentiments exactly fuck the fucker who wrote that article

I adore Chris, but am I the only one who cracked up at that description?

...probably.

My only beef is that Chris sometimes screws up the singing or plays the wrong key, and then says oops that was a mistake and apologises. Sometimes I think it's just better to play on....cos most people won't be able to tell.

Or maybe that's what he does to relieve the tension? I think perhaps, but other artists do the same thing, so maybe it's just a matter of adjusting.. If you want quality performances, sometimes it's better to start over, etc.

of course he doesnt sound like he does in the studio when he's live. DUUUUUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. for real.

does ANYONE sound like they do in the studio when they're live?

besides, a lot of other artists sound good live because a lot of other artists lip sync which we know chris doesnt do.

chris has difficult notes to sing while still having to make sure that he gives a good, entertaining show. that being said, he could tone down the crazy dancing just a smidgeon. he does need to keep us entertained and his dancing does that, but the song is the most important part i think and it could sound better if he had more energy to put into his voice. im sure it's much easier when you're not out of breath :dozey:

Article writer is a moron and forgets the other 4891507657 artists that just have their voices done up all nicely in studio.

Melodic speaking is not as easy as it sounds. Literally! You try it, is quite hard to get it to sound good.

any retard who insults christina aguilera, who is probably the best singer in the world, & chris martin has no ears

Mrs. Chris Martin I love your signature. Some of my all time favourite song lyrics/quotes there. I crack u pat any refernce to The Nappies no matter how many times I hear it.

And that friggin moron who wrote that article must be on something pretty strong to not say that. Who does he think he's kidding besides himself?

But if he refuses to embrace Coldplay its his loss. Hes missing out on the best bands (imo).

And I think the dancing can be very effective in songs like Lost!, but for a few others, toning it down a little bit might be a good idea. But he sure puts on a good show.

this is just someone's livejournal. hardly an authority on the matter. there is a reason they sell out shows all over the world.

At least he doesn't lip sync, Most lead singers who absolutly do nothing but sing and do dance moves all thru their sets, lip sync,(Brittney Spears for 1), Chris's voice cracks in certain songs, cause he's out of breath, I would rather have that, then him lipping thru the set. Frontman Steven Tyler is one that has lipped some songs during his sets, if you have ever seen Aerosmith live, Tyler is all over the stage. I have also been backstage during his set where he has a oxygen tank that he will huff off in order to perform. I understand Tyler is twice Chris's age, but he has been using the oxygen for many years.

I say Chris keep your funny, sexy dancing up!!!
