WHAT?! What moron thinks her songs are catchy? Those sort of songs are the dance shite that has ruined the charts as we know it! For example, U2 only got to no.42 in the charts for their single Magnificent. Bloody unreal. Most of the listeners today are destroying their musical tastebuds by listening to the shite that is Lady Gaga, Akon, Basshunter. They deserve to rot in musical death row.

I'm only disappointed with her album because there's quite a few duds on there. She needs more songs in the style of "Just Dance", "Poker Face", "Lovegame" and "Paparazzi" and less of the weird ballady stuff.

 

She's got a strong voice, she sings live and is a very interesting pop star. She needs to work on her interview skills though; she comes across as a little monotone.

Why so many people think her songs are catchy? I have listened to 'Poker Face' for so many times and I forget the melody everytime in 5 minutes.

I like her. *shrugs* Sure she may not be a "musical genius" or anything of that nature, but her songs are pretty upbeat and fun to bop to. She's a classically trained pianist with a solid voice (if she put out an acoustic album, I'd buy it in a flash), but I think her talent often gets overshadowed by her over-the-top image. :\

First, I think her songs are catchy, uhm, ok. But after a while, her songs bored me.

So, I conclude her music is easy: easy to listen, easy to like, easy to feel bored :P.

Most of all : her song are hers. She writes and/or composes her stuff, which is quite nice in this stream of commercial music. At least it's really her stuff. Plus it's not thaaat baaaad for pop music. Still I'm lightyears away from being a fan !
