Is anyone like, upset after seeing them live?

Featured Replies

That's why I love this place! Because there's always going to be people in the same situation, LOL.

Anywhere else, someone would say, "You've seen Coldplay four times already, why do you have to see more, especially in the same tour?"

Here, people will say, "Nice! Are you getting there early? What other shows are you gonna try to make it to?!"

+100000000000000 :D Someone at school just asked me today "why would you see them 5 times in one tour?" They don't understand :mean:

Yay Coldplaying- what keeps me sane and makes me lose all of my sanity at the same time  Group hug! :P

Like everyone else said, I think everyone on here who has been to a Coldplay concert felt like that afterwards, at least for a little while. Anticipation is most certainly the best part, and it's a sad feeling when it's all over. But at least you have the memories! And there's always more Coldplay concerst to look forward too :D

* is currently looking at flight prices to NY* :uhoh:

Being new to Coldplay - not only was it depressing these past few days after the concert but now I keep thinking about all the concerts I missed in the past that came near me. But the kicker is like you said: I wont see them for years now. I feel like I'm in a Coldplayers Anonymous group. Hi, My name is Shine and I'm completely obsessed with Coldplay (particularly Chris). Its been four minutes since I last listened to them.

:laugh3: Yeah, they have sort-of been crossing paths with me here, in and around Chicago, for years without me knowing it. :\ They played on the stage I graduated from High School on. Also played on the stage where I graduated from Pharmacy School. And I didn't know I would love them at the time!

Oh, but I am making up for lost time alright! :P

.

This whole forum is "Coldplayers Anonymous" :P

Hello, my name is Zoe and I think I need professional help for my Coldplay addiction. It's been 0 seconds since I last listened to them, as I'm listening to them right now

I need to join! I am a Coldplay addict..but a Jonny addict too! Ahhhhh!

Ah I've been feeling this way since March when I saw them in Singapore... Sometimes when I listen to them, I feel like I'm on top of the world. At other times, I feel like I might burst into tears cuz I wanna see them again and listening to LRLRL makes me all nostalgic and emotional...

One of the things I'm most depressed about is that I had brought a pair of binoculars with me but accidentally left them in the car. And I sat really far away from the band. :(

Hope they'll come by to this side of the world one day in the future. Or maybe I'll swing by to foreign countries to see them.

I know it's stupid but I'm already stressing for the post-concert times :\

I know it's gonna be really hard, and everytime I'll listen to them is gonna make me feel so nostalgic and sad...

Anyway I shouldn't think of that right now, and enjoy the shows...

Even if I have to wait years to see them again, I know I will

I was a bit upset after seeing them live in December as the concerts were all-seater, which sucked.;)

oh i can definitely relate to that.

i cant really listen carefully to LRLRL yet for now because i cant control my tears from streaming down my face, i still shed some tears whenever i read someone's review of a coldplay show and whenever i listen to a coldplay song (even when i'm in public places), and flashes of images of the whole experience still come out randomly in my mind all the time.

it was so wonderful and totally out of my mind that i cant really accept the fact that it's over just like that.

and my shows were more than two months ago.

i dont know, i'm just hopeless.

yeah, i do get pretty bummed after shows. but then, i just think about when they'll come back and how it's most definitley not my last coldplay concert!! :D

Yeah it's definitely not the last one Christina ! I think we should think like that, even if it's hard :\

I know me too! Which is why I would rather have them go to Latin America until next year so that way I'll see them again!!!!!! I'm already feeling nostalgic but at least I get to see them again soon! but after the tour is over it's going to be sad..

anyone ever just get AMAZING seats (like front row), and think that this will be your best concert ever? And probably the best seats ever? But then it isn't? Cause thats how i kinda feel :(

i got upgraded to front row at my last concert and had a blast because i've never been that close ever, and i don't think i want to sit anywhere else afterward :P but i'm sorry to hear that :\ did you not enjoy ur seats?

No, i totally did. I am just afraid that a coldplay concert will never get better for me :(

This, my friends, is called Coldplay Concert Withdrawal, and it's a BITCH! :P

Last Thursday was the most incredible experience of my life, and even though I still have another concert to look forward to on August 3rd, I know it won't be the same because I won't be front row that time :disappointed: I don't know what to do with myself! I'm going to be a COMPLETE WRECK after my last concert on August 3rd :uhoh: Seeing them 5 times in one year, and then knowing that I won't be seeing them again for years... :bigcry:

FIVE TIMES?

Oh my gosh you're so lucky!

I know me too! Which is why I would rather have them go to Latin America until next year so that way I'll see them again!!!!!! I'm already feeling nostalgic but at least I get to see them again soon! but after the tour is over it's going to be sad..

You'll see them in Latin America if they do concerts there ?

Yeah it's goingto be very sad, but we'll be waiting for their next album then, which means A NEW TOUR !

FIVE TIMES?

Oh my gosh you're so lucky!

5 times is already huge, but I think that Angie saw they more than 30times :stunned:

Sorry, I'm just randomly reading through the posts, and if I didn't know better, I would have thought this was a self-help sickness thread :laugh3:.

I suppose after a concert, the buzz dies down and after you're just left with a nostalgic love-sickness for what was such a unforgettable live night. You'll get over it but realize you can never pass over the concert the next time the band are coming to town.

It is^^

Im gonna write a book, it will be called Overcomming the Silence: Life after a Coldplay Concert. You can get a copy, I accept paypal, Visa, Mastercard, checks, cash, Coldplay paraphernalia, and more.

Haha I already reserve your book :P

For those interested by a therapy, ask me !

The last I saw them was at the end of November and I had withdrawls the second the concert ended lol I am not seeing them until the middle of July feels like torture.. in a way I want it to be here already but then again I don't want to be depressed when it's over :( however, the thing I love about Coldplay is that they tour ALOT so I always know I won't go too long without seeing them again. I may just cry at the concerts I am attending in July, I have pit tickets for two of the concerts and I can't believe how close I am going to be to them.

I am glad to know that I am not the only one that suffers from this, you guys will be my support group :)

Yeah, I was just front row at my concert last Thursday, and it was the most amazing two hours of my life... But my next concert I'm way at the back of the first seated section, and I'm really upset because I know it won't be as incredible as last Thursday! :\

FIVE TIMES?

Oh my gosh you're so lucky!

Haha yeah, I'm pretty lucky, but not nearly as lucky as some of the people on this board! *cough*ANGIE*cough* :P

Didn't Chris or one of the guys for their next album, they won't be touring as much?! :\

^ YES, that's why I'm worried. :wreck:

But they totally won't go through with that, I'll believe it when I see it :P They love touring too much!

I am with all of you, I'm going through severe post-concert depression right now!! At the concert last Thursday Chris said that it was the last time they would be in Washington DC for a couple years, and I almost cried! :(

At least we have LRLRL!
