Is anyone like, upset after seeing them live?

Yes, Coldplay was the best concert I've ever been to, and I loved it.

But after seeing them, it's harder for me to listen to their live stuff (LeftRightLeftRightLeft or Live 2003, for example.) and look at my concert pictures. I just miss the concert so much, it was the best night of my life.

Does anyone feel the same?

Sorry if this in the wrong section, by the way. Please pardon my noobness.

Yes it makes me sad too. But I then I just think of how lucky I was to see them live, and to look forward to future shows. This is pretty lame but when I listen to LRLRL I just close my eyes and picture myself at their concert last October--rocking out to Viva la Vida.

Best concert too!

That will happen with anything you've looked forward to for a long time. Anticipation is often the best part.

I'll fade soon and you'll be listening to them none stop again :D

Plus there will be plenty more I'm sure. :nice:

And welcome to the forum. :D

Pretty soon you will just feel glad you went and it will make the music seem even better cuz you can remember being at the concert when you listen.

This is a very true statement. While jogging and listening to LRLR I often visuallize myself at the concert. It is quite disturbing tbh.

And get over your post-Coldplay-Concert-Depression. Listen to more Coldplay, buy chocolate, and for heavens sake save the aardvarks!

Guys, I need support :(. I am in major depression. I got upgraded to front row seats in Hershey. Best time of my life. Now I realize that will probably be the closest I ever get :(. It weird. How far coldplay has gone throughthe viva era. From the apple commercial, to Prospekts march, to now. It's been great year watching the boys evolve. It's so sad it is almost over :(

Lol I am suffering from the same thing. I am thinking about going to another show on this tour but I don't kow if my wallet can take it. It is addicting. That is why luckily I have my own pics/videos of the concert in Hershey along with the pics/videos of my fellow Coldplayers which they posted of the same concert that keeps me going. Also all the merchandise, butterflies, and LRLRL is helping me through it. I am so happy to have gone to my first Coldplay concert but I have to accept it that I won't see them again on this tour (unless I am extremley lucky and win a contest or something).

But the concert on Sunday is my first of many Coldplay concerts I will go to. I look forward to their next album as soon as possible (for them of course, they need their rest) so they can have another US tour and come around here again. I had one of the best times of my life on Sunday and I know exactly what I will do differently on my next Coldplay concert (take less videos, or if taking videos, dont scream as loud :P, bring A LOT of spare batteries of the camera lol) and I want to get as close to the stage as I can. For now one I will be going for the front rows/pit. The money is certainly worth it. But now, enjoy the memories, pics, videos, and butterflies of my recent Coldplay endeavour, listen to Coldplay with LRLRL nonstop, and keep loving them and waiting for their next album/tour!!!:D

I'm trying not to go insane, and book a flight to any of the concerts in the Southeast in early June... :freak:

Watch the next symptom of this syndrome is sleepwalking and buying Coldplay tickets in your sleep. You wake up in the morning to find that you got pit tickets to every Coldplay concert of the tour within 500 miles of you but you find yourself $40,000 in debt!!!:laugh3:

This, my friends, is called Coldplay Concert Withdrawal, and it's a BITCH! :P

Last Thursday was the most incredible experience of my life, and even though I still have another concert to look forward to on August 3rd, I know it won't be the same because I won't be front row that time :disappointed: I don't know what to do with myself! I'm going to be a COMPLETE WRECK after my last concert on August 3rd :uhoh: Seeing them 5 times in one year, and then knowing that I won't be seeing them again for years... :bigcry:

Being new to Coldplay - not only was it depressing these past few days after the concert but now I keep thinking about all the concerts I missed in the past that came near me. But the kicker is like you said: I wont see them for years now. I feel like I'm in a Coldplayers Anonymous group. Hi, My name is Shine and I'm completely obsessed with Coldplay (particularly Chris). Its been four minutes since I last listened to them.

This whole forum is "Coldplayers Anonymous" :P

Hello, my name is Zoe and I think I need professional help for my Coldplay addiction. It's been 0 seconds since I last listened to them, as I'm listening to them right now

That's why I love this place! Because there's always going to be people in the same situation, LOL.

Anywhere else, someone would say, "You've seen Coldplay four times already, why do you have to see more, especially in the same tour?"

Here, people will say, "Nice! Are you getting there early? What other shows are you gonna try to make it to?!"

I can't explain the dedication, lol. I love music, and I love Coldplay to pieces. From the first time time I saw them, I knew that I would try do everything I could to always listen to the music live. There's people here who are the same; they love the music, so a little travel doesn't even matter ;)

I get down after seeing them live. The past four times I've heard Politik live, I think afterward, "well dammit, how am I supposed to listen to it now when i've heard and seen it LIKE THIS?"

I'm counting down until the August 9 gig, but at the same time, I don't want it to be here, 'cos that signals the end, and it will be at least three years until I (and the other fans) get to do this again :(

It's bittersweet, I guess that's the best way to describe it...

Those going for the first time: Brace yourselves, it's an amazing experience!
