Guitar picks :idea2:

Chris and Jonny use Jim Dunlop .60mm nylon picks :P

^^ yeah i have 2 of those guitar picks, a Coldplay roadie gave them to me and a setlist last june

Hi, I would like to know if the pick is a Max-Grip™ Nylon Standard or if it's a Nylon Standard (that one that says Usa Nylon) please.

Do they use syths like playbacks?

I often hear a lot of effects at the back of the band...

Do you know anything?

Yes, they do use samples on some songs. In Life In Technicolor and I in Viva La Vida, I'm not sure about other songs but I think there are some more.

Edit: I just listened to the few bootlegs I got, there are also some samples in Strawberry Swing. Most of the other effects are made by Jonnys guitar (he uses some really epic reverbs) or the synths they use(d) onstage (did they also use them when playing the festivals?)

What's looped during The Scientist? There's no strings in that, are there?

They have the strings during The Scientist (or at least some synthy type thing that fills the song out). Listened to the T In the Park live version early today..

Random question: does anyone know the type of drum pad that Will used on the B-Stage?
