My hand is called Eliza, does that count?

^

I named a chair Reginald Esquire once

No.

But when I was a kid I always used to wave at this one house on my street everytime we drove past.

My family would try to distract me so I'd forget, but it never worked. I was an alert kid.

I named my 60GB iPod Classic "mother of all podz", if that counts. The little measly nano I had before was called "Sur Insanitist".

I've got a friend who calls things "this guy".

So he'll be pointing to a particular wire leading from his computer to a speaker and he'll say "This guy is connected to the amp..."

It's annoying, but I don't call him out on it because I don't want to look like I'm nit picking.

I named my iPod Frank. I'm curious if others ever give names to non-living things.

i had that question in my mind for a pretty long time.... :uhoh:

i even remember that when i bought my first guitar i asked that on the board, and people told me it was pretty weird thing to do... although i know most musicians give names to their fave guitars.

i thought to name my classic guitar: mommy; and my electric one: blacky as is black, but i found those nicks pretty simple ones and i really don't call it by those names but well.

so i don't name inanimated things (but for my 3 dolls), i do nick people with names or references when i write some poems but they don't know it :wacky:

my iPod's named kenneth. i named him after the r.e.m. song "what's the frequency, kenneth?" cause it's green. (the lyrics go: you wore a shirt of violent green, uh huh) that's the only thing i've named. and i do call it by it's name.

Hmmm name it Violet xD

Did someone say VIOLET? :wacky:

Anyway, every time I check out a French horn, I name it Howard. Just because I can.

My orthodontist calls all of my teeth "little guys."

As in, "When the lats of these little guys fully grows in, we might put braces in again on your lower mandible to keept those little rowdy guys in line."

WTF.

My friend named my mom's cars Hank and Desiree.

And we called them by name ever since.

I remember once my sister had to do a delivery for my mom's flower shop, and my mom said "OK I'll just get out of Hank and you can use him next."

Oh God the look on her face was priceless. :D

What ? Me ? Creepy ?

Robert was my only friend this year.... :disappointed: :P

I called my skull Robert

:inquisitive:but what was his name before he became your dead-friend-Robert?:laugh3:
