I love the rationalization that leaking them is less immoral than selling them. Both are immoral. You say that Coldplay would rather have them leaked, I think they'd rather you not leak them at all.

I've been sitting here shaking my head at some of these posts about the immorality of robmatt wanting to sell the demos when no one is saying that leaking these demos in the first place is immoral! Chris and the rest of the band obviously never meant for these songs to reach the public and they were scrapped early on or worked on and perfected as with LiJ. Now don't get me wrong, I want these songs just as much as the next guy, but don't pretend as if this is something the band would want to happen.

although i do understand where people are coming from, because in one situation he's making money off of it. :rolleyes:

The band might not care. On second thought, they'd probably not want them out at all cause Chris sounds really rough.

 

Thing is they'd probably be more opposed to them being sold than just leaked. Whatever, doesn't matter to me. I just want the songs and I'm grateful that some have been leaked.

I know coldplay will be upset. Leaking them or selling them is immoral. But 3 have already been leaked. why not leak the rest???

And why does he feel the need to leak just 3 if he aint gonna sell em, i mean he has listened to em of course and decided to give us a teaser, this showts out that when people like us lot start going crazy for the rest of em, he will have a good solid demand therefore will sell em and cash in.

 

Just a possibility that though not watertight but i honestly dont think its fair of Rob, despite our gratitude to him,, to feel he has the right to hear em but all of us coldplay lovers dont have that right.

 

Anyway that said; Patience is a virtue. just enjoy sitting in that strawberry swing tomorrow and think of all the good stuff. (hopefully that vid will inspire rob to be our superhero-saviour like chris and make us complete :) )

Then we mine as well deleate this thread and none of us mention these songs again and we just forget it.

I ran out of the 'special' faces. The best thing about it was that no one noticed (or at least pointed out) that Guy is actually playing on a shovel!! And the "Will" head is what gave me the idea in the first place.

Exactly. And my fear now is if he's getting a bazillion PMs from people here bugging him about uploading more or making him offers, it's only going to either irritate the guy or make him think he really could rake in the cash! :S
