I never really think of going there, but I went into the library today and they have a really great music selection... I got The Killers, Radiohead, and Coldplay all for free! I have to check out the library more often.

i exploit this fact so often.

i'm still waiting that my local library gets Radiohead's Pablo Honey :dozey: i think mine is not as cool :(

mine is even cheaper. as is for free, they lend you 2 cds for a week, or one book for two weeks.

I was going in to pick up a bookd I had on hold and they had a bunch of CDs at the front lobby. REM, Coldplay, Killers, etc. Pretty awesome. Never borrowed one though.

Cheapskate way to get music: borrow from a library and rip. :wacko:

You can also borrow DVD's from most libraries, audiobooks, e-books, and CD's.

 

Some of them even have an online service where you can put on hold the stuff that you want to borrow, and mine lets me borrow up to 50 items at a time. You should take advantage of this great resource!

My brother got some movies from the library, now he has like 250+ dollars in late fees and is bannished from borrowing stuff.
