Yes I do very much, I'm going to meet her someday.

No.

I think you have to find someone that you care deeply about and make it work.

There are no soulmates.

No...I do not really believe in ONE soulmate....I think out of billion people out there, there are thousands soulmates...I mean how can you tell you've found your soulmate? You can only tell that you've found this person when you got to know all the people who live on this earth...

You people are over analyzing this. It's more of a higher level of things...fate you know...nothing that can be counted, measured, analyzed, or studied.

It was just a random example...

actually I do not even know if I still believe in it...I used to, but I think I don't anymore...another question is: How do you define soulmate?

now I got it: I used to believe in soulmates as lovers, but nowadays I rather believe in soulmates as friends.

I think a lot of you will believe in soul mates after you get married...

Probably not, since I doubt I'll ever feel like I could only love that person. If it went bad I'd like to believe that there's no one "soul mate" and that you can find love again.

I'd love to believe that idea is true, but probably not.

And I dont agree with the above statement, especially when statistically an increasing number of marriages end in separation and divorce...

If only soulmates WAS true!!!

I'd love to believe that idea is true, but probably not.

Like I said, you can't put this into numbers and figures (The scientist :P). If it ends in divorce, then obviously it wasn't your soul mate...

Yeah, soulmates isnt a stats thing, but the title is 'do you actually believe...'

and the figures lead me to believe its not true

It also depends on the persons own belief in it. If two people feel that each other are soul mates, no matter what you say, that pretty much makes them soul mates.

This shit is so fucking hard to explain. Your side is so much more logical.

I get what you're saying, I just don't believe in it.

Kind of...

I believe in soul mates but I also believe they're made as friends, not lovers. Although, they can be both. I don't know if that makes sense. I'm kind of weird.

That's what I think, too.

And my PC just voted for "No", although I clicked on "Yes"!

The limitation of this argument is that it's pretty much theological. If you're an Atheist/Agnostic, of course this is going to sound like shit.

Well you (arizzo) and your PC certainly arent soulmates

Indeed!

I don`t believe in that, thats all crap ..

I don´t know what I believe :shame:

i think that that "one true love" is just something we made up.

i believe we could fall in love we a lot of people and then that love turns into that "one true love" because thats what we like to think.

soul mates, though?

i don't know. i don't know if i wanted my love to be my soul mate. i prefer two personalities that complement each other. so what's the point in having two identical people?

I think soul mates is two personalities that complement each other, no?

Yeah I believe in the idea, everyone has a soul mate that only begins to exist once you've met them and interacted with them. It's sort of quantum.
