August 11, 200916 yr i'm surprised no one has mentioned Easy to Please. it never fails to amaze me. the atmosphere, the guitar, the lyrics and the voice are all perfect. worst must be how you see the world. i only listen to it when i watch the toronto 2006 "dvd".

August 11, 200916 yr My favorite are the ones from X&Y's era.. I just can't pick one :dozey: Oh and I Ran Away and Crests of Waves are awesome =) My least favorite is Pour Me.
August 13, 200916 yr i think my favorite for now is crests of waves it should have been on AROBTTH instead of a whisper. my least favorite right now is pour me, but i havent really listened to it well i kinda change it at the beginning cuz i feel like listening to crests of waves.lol i havent heard all their b-sides yet so these choices might change.
August 13, 200916 yr The AROBTTH B-sides are some of the best I've heard in my life, from any band. So many fantastic tunes, some better than the album tracks. When you consider the artwork that came with the Rush of Blood singles, and how they also featured these awesome b-sides, they're undoubtedly among my favorite singles of all time. The Parachutes b-sides weren't bad either, and neither were their singles' artwork. But songs like Animals, One I Love, Crests of Waves, and Murder, along with the rest, are just amazing. I'm not as big a fan of the X&Y b-sides, though.
August 13, 200916 yr It's so hard to choose a favorite. I love so many of them. Hmm...Animals, Gravity, Sleeping Sun, The Goldrush....man, I just can't choose! But...I'm definitely not fond of I Bloom Blaum. Bleh.

August 13, 200916 yr I actually prefer the Parachutes b-sides: For You, the Brothers & Sisters version on Trouble (the best version imo) and Help Is Round the Corner. Death Will Never Conquer sounds a little childish, never really liked it.

Death Will Never Conquer sounds a little childish, never really liked it. The thing they messed up with DWNC is that Chris sang it. Will sings it live, so why would they switch it? I mean, the Goldrush is nice because it's different, but if they did DWNC with Will on vocals it'd be that much better
August 13, 200916 yr Fav: Oh... so hard. But I love I Ran Away and How You See the World. Amazing. I cannot stand Pour Me. The first time I heard the track I was like "Oh god... wtf is this shit?" I don't think I was even able to get through it twice.
August 13, 200916 yr really? I think with hearing Will live and the studio version Chris did, i really enjoyed Will's better, it seems more of the mood that the song should have
August 14, 200916 yr It would've been nice if Will sang it, just for variation and it suits his voice. The song is nothing special.
August 14, 200916 yr I think the studio version (Chris) came first, then they decided to have Will sing it on the tour...
August 14, 200916 yr fav ones: see you soon (ONLY live) crest of waves, gravity and i ran away (i'm sorry, can't choose ^^) less: gold in them hills.
August 15, 200916 yr here is the thing Gold In Them Hills is not a Coldplay song. It is actually by Ron Sexsmith and it's from his album Cobblestone Runway http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cobblestone_Runway see for yourself, so not really a Coldplay song, guess it doesn't count! :P
August 15, 200916 yr ^ However, it features Chris Martin, so it is a song which features Coldplay (or at least 1/4 of them). :nice: It's so hard to choose a favorite. I love so many of them. Hmm...Animals, Gravity, Sleeping Sun, The Goldrush....man, I just can't choose! But...I'm definitely not fond of I Bloom Blaum. Bleh. *slowly walks away* :P My favourite? Hmm... well, for the past fortnight it has been Murder. So I'll go with Murder. :nice: However, I Ran Away and Crests of Waves are two other amazing b-sides. Least favourite? I don't care much for A Spell A Rebel Yell or One I Love. :x
