this is my favorite album :wacky:

Has always been AROBTTH for me.

I love the songs, the lyrics, the sequence of the songs in the album, everything.

^the only reason why AROBTTH is my least favorite is b/c of Daylight and A Whisper... i have deep dislike for those songs... and i don't know why, I've never warmed up to them.

X&Y is my faveourite.

AROBTTH is my favourite.

PARACHUTES is my Favourite.

VLVODAAHF is my favourite.

I like X&Y much more than Viva la Vida...just because they played everything live during the twisted logik tour...it is not as "fake" as the Viva la Vida songs...this is what I really hated about the Viva tour...that there was more show than live music----so this is what I do not like about Viva in general...it's just too much...not the real Coldplay anymore

they changed so much.. their live shows become so flashy and pompous..

How could anyone love coldplay over the radio? Its a bit stereotypical to say that Viva is an album for housewives. I did start loving coldplay before viva la vida. I never said (or rather meant) that it was better than the others, just that it's my favourite.

I mean, I wouldn't have even known Coldplay had it not been for Viva la Vida, but it's not my favorite album. But I still love it :wacky:

XY is growing on me but still not as good as their other 3 cd's.

Well hey, there are a lot of amazing songs on X&Y. But it's just the album on itself, how the songs were arranged on it, that bothers some people.

Yeah I agree with that. There was a lady next to me in the pit who only knew Viva la Vida. It amazes me that she even spent the money on the tickets in the first place. :rolleyes:

I went to the concert in Düsseldorf in August and there was this woman with her 8 years old child and her husband standing next to me....and they kept talking about Chris' private life and threw flowers on the stage when he was standing in front of us...they didn't really know the songs except Viva La Vida...but they kept talking and laughing as fake as Coldplay shows have become...yes the shows are awesome and exciting, but the music suffers from it imo....uhm

hahaha. What If and a few others on that album are really really shit in my opinion. I don't like X&Y, big mistake from them I think

What If and Fix You are the main ones. If they'd've cut out those the album wouldn't even be semi-painful to listen to in one sitting.

 

The World Turned Upside Down and Things I Don't Understand and HYSTW are so much better than those songs especially, and better than some of the more mediocre songs like the title track, ex.
