September 26, 200916 yr Prospekt's March is perfect, and the Poppy Fields part is.. wonderful. Postcards is love. I don't mind the rest. A Rush Of Blood is completely awesome. X&Y is my fav so anything I say about it will have you saying the same: Bad playlist. Viva sucks, but CSC is so fucking good, doesn't really fit the album. Parachutes I like a lot too, not as much as LP2 and LP3.
September 27, 200916 yr ^its an awesome song. Does anyone agree that most of the material on Prospekts march is better than viva? Yes. PM = Prospekt's March the song is just amazing. Amazing. Too short though. PM has to be my ultimate favorite off of the Viva era... it's pure genius, so... astounding :nice: same. also, i like CoL. CoL is a good song after you really get into it, i'm still in the getting into it phase.
September 27, 200916 yr I'm honestly glad that none of the prospekt's march songs ended up on the album, they're not bad songs but are generally weaker and wouldn't have fit at all. They were right in keeping the instrumental version of LIT, Glass of Water is solid but not terribly exciting or original, Rainy Day is messy and overrated, prospekt's march is good, but not nearly developed enough...My favorites off the E.P. are actually postcards and now my feet...
September 27, 200916 yr Now My Feet Wont Touch The Ground is great but WAAAYYY to similar to Til Kingdom Come. it's in the same guitar tuning and they use the same chords as in TKC!
September 29, 200916 yr The song is at the iTunes store only avaliable on a various artist album. Where is it as CD version?
September 30, 200916 yr Ugh, the HYSTW from Help: A Day In the Life is so powerful, it scares me. I love it. And yeah, I don't know why they didnt put it in the album. You know, that we're all suddenly talking about X&Y, I remember how great it really actually was. Square One is one of their best songs ever. It's easy to forget that when the members of the band themselves keep dissing the album.
