ricardo
Where are you staying? And going there at 9 am? What? I won't be outside the venue all the day :dozey: I'll get there late and get a good place, don't know how, but I will
Pris
I'm staying at Hotel Corinto, it's an old hotel  but it's cheap, clean, two blocks away from Reforma and one from a starbucks and the Monumento a la Revolucion. So I like it :wacky: And as long as you don't try to move me from my spot you can do whatever you want to get yours

Afeather
Wow -- 9 AM! I knew this was going to be different from my Viva concert experience here in the States but reading these details blows my mind! :shocked2: Let me give you an idea of the potential difference... I had the the "Gen A" tickets for the show I saw this past year, strolled in half an hour before it started, walked right up towards the stage and although I wasn't directly up against the barrier, I still managed to take awesome pictures with my iphone camera. So needless to say, I'm going to be in a for a shock when I arrive at Foro Sol around 3:30 this upcoming Saturday! At least I have Sunday's show to collect more butterflies for my collection. :wink3: Also: I'm looking for 2 General A tickets for friends, Saturday night. Anyone have extras they're trying to sell?? Mig-El
well the guys from the club have said we'll meet at 9am the only other concert I've been to is the past coldplay's gig here which was in a venue with only seats so no line to fight for a spot. I dont know if we're exagerating, maybe butthe guys from the muse fan club are already organizing 3 groups for the line to the concert in the same venue april 20 depending on how soon you can get there or you are willing to, and the grous are Group A.- Arrives april 18th at night (sleeping 2 days outside the venue) Group B.- Arrives april 19 (staying 1 night there) Group C.- Arrives april 20, the day of the concert THAT is really insane, I wouldn't do that ever (A nor B). this is as far as I can go and I really hope it's worth it. Laura42
I think we have a problem with the long queues, probably it's something cultural or I don't know because it's something common here even for a bureaucratic procedures and stuff like that... but i think with coldplay things won't be so extreme, for example for u2 and radiohead, people slept outside the venue many days before the concert, and they weren't just a couple of crazy dudes, they were a lot of people!!!, in radiohead I remember you could see a lot of tents lined outside the venue. At least with coldplay i haven't read that someone is going to sleep outside the foro sol.
swallowed_in_coldplay
Coldplay DVD Recorded in Mexico? Translated Please!! Sorry, I should have used the word "classier". Don't worry I won't be there, so I won't make fun of your moustache :nice:. But shaving and leaving your hat at home sounds like a good idea to me.
