October 7, 200916 yr That's to be expected.;) My granddad died after his liver packed from being a heavy drinker. Subconsciously, I must have felt very aware of that.
October 7, 200916 yr Apart from the fact you apparently don't like beer, no. That was actually the fact I was referring to. I'm sure we both think murder is bad, too, among other things. Also you aren't answering my point about provocation
October 7, 200916 yr That was actually the fact I was referring to. I'm sure we both think murder is bad, too, among other things. Fair enough. Also you aren't answering my point about provocation  I was referring to recent unsavoury events. If you've turned over a new leaf, then we'll leave it at that.;)
October 7, 200916 yr Don't turn this thread into something negative again :blank: That isn't likely to happen.;) As it happens, you could say I'm actually tea-total, because I drink pretty much nothing but tea all day!!:P
October 7, 200916 yr I've never... i think it smells gross therefore it must taste gross as well... :cheesy:
October 7, 200916 yr I've never... i think it smells gross therefore it must taste gross as well... :cheesy: Good logic.;)
October 7, 200916 yr Good logic.;) I try Mark, I try... :smug2: My dad use to drink a lot... but it's been like 4 years that he's been clean... Sure, a beer once in a while but he doesn't get drunk anymore... (I guess Jehovah's Witnesses are good for something...) :shifty: :P :-X
October 7, 200916 yr beer is nasty.. heh.. I don't really drink like ever..but if I do, it would be only a sip or two...
October 7, 200916 yr I drink alcohol occasionally ... I don't really like the taste either. I respect everyone who's not drinking alcohol and I would never call someone uncool or anything. I have a lot of fun without alcohol too and I pity everyone who thinks fun can only happen when you're drunk.
October 7, 200916 yr I don't drink at all. I'm not legal yet, and even if I were, it doesn't seem appealing to me. I've smelled whiskey before, and it smells AWFUL. How do they drink that stuff?
October 8, 200916 yr sorry for my ignorance (due i'm not native english).... what does "teetotallers" mean? :uhoh: i have some friends of mine who are abstemious (they can't drink alcohol cause they get sick after that), it means that?

October 8, 200916 yr I had never heard of the word teetotallers either. See? This place can actually be educational if you use it in the right way!!:D
October 8, 200916 yr Teetotalism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Certainly no pan-galactic blasters served here!:laugh3: Thinking of naturalistic living, I sense that alcohol, being mild in a natural beverage like strawberry wine or cider seems fine on occasion - the benefits and negative effects outweighing one-another, but a mild euphoric state being arrived at is often pleasant and invites one to entertain some of the joys of emotional freedom of youth.:escaping3: An Important Link About the Nature of the Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster:Pan Galactic Gargle Blaster - Hitchhikers Chickens do occasionally drink wine as well - when wild plums fall into their watering troughs. Yeast is natural; ferment happens!
October 8, 200916 yr People say that I'm lame all the time because I don't drink, especially at parties. The thing is that I have been around drunken people hundreds of times before and they act like an idiot. I personally do not ever wanna look like one of those, so being a teetotaller works fine with me.
