thats late? :P

i have no idea why its so late. i also miss the days when triple j presents used to be an hour long. the LCD 30mins broadcast will be 3 or 4 songs at best.

Yes, it is late for some you still has to attend regular schooling!

listening to Home & Hosed at the moment. was steph hughes really in children collide before?

That's awesome for you, Alex! :nice:

Also, 30min of live music is better than none! Totally going to watch Florence's set at least, even if it is on so late (and on a Monday...). This means I might have to figure out how to actually use the digital set-top box thing. I don't usually watch tv, clearly

Durp I pretty much can't see LP nao ;(

Kanye would be INSANE. I'm loving 'Power' so much atm and his new GOOD Friday stuff. It's a shame I wasn't in the country when he toured Oz with U2 in 2007.

i think he really likes it down here. when U2 postponed the tour where he was the support, he still came down here and did his own tour then returned again to support U2. he debuted much of his 808s album down here last time he was here. so i think a full aus tour is imminent.

has anyone been to the v festival website lately. they say they are just taking a break now. which means dude nobody wants to play at our festival so we're screwed.

but u look at the current festival scene with BDO, splendour, groovin the moo, good vibes, parklife, soundwave and all the falls fests as well as to a lesser extent laneways, i would say that we have reached a point of saturation. it also proves that live music has reached unprecedented levels of popularity.

interpol doing the Enmore and the Palace. a massive downgrade from their last tour. what happened boys??!?!

Shame. I won't be gong. I think most people kind of forgot about them.

Bands just don't seem to like Brisbane for some reason. I probably wouldn't have gone anyway, just saying.

But regards to the no. festivals, I was going to say, all the better for us!

It's kind of sad. In my opinion V Festival was the best of the lot I have been to.

they're all there for sunset sounds anyways. the only way they will start to announce brisbane sideshows is if the festival sells out really fast. which hasnt happened this year.

I meant that in the way that festivals are becoming more popular so there are more of them... I would have liked to have gone to a V-fest. It's interesting that they were big enough to have a headline such as the killers and then all of a sudden be too broke/unpopular to have anyone!

I heard those shows were terrible

yeah the Glow in the Dark tour was a bit of a mess. my mate went to it and he said at some points it was the most amazing show he had ever seen then it just descended into shambles.

or are u talking about his support of U2? my brother saw him there, he said it was awkward as he performed in front of a few thousand people in a 85 000 seat stadium. the fact it was a monday night didnt help.

My ex went to that show, she said Kanye was atrocious. But she doesn't like his music, so...
