I'm here in London studying abroad and it would help to get an idea of what we're doing so I know ahead of time in case I want to do something like book tickets to a show with my friends if there's a more exciting coldplaying event going on instead. and also since we get the weekends to travel, I'd like to know what's going on then too so I can judge that also since lots of people are going away on weekends.. thanks.
June 21, 201016 yr Hey guys! I'm so sorry, I've been working like crazy, here is a short travel plan... Mon 5th: Meet-up time! Taking it easy, getting to know the area etc Tue 6th: Tourist Day Wed 7th: Shopping Day Thurs 8th: Free Day Fri 9th: Architecture/Museum Day Sat 10th: Coldplay Day + Picnic Sun 11th: Flee Market Shopping before lunch, Continued Coldplay Day (if we run out of time on Saturday) and Football Finals in the evening for those interested! Mon 12th: If there's time/interest a day trip to Brighton Tue 13th: Free Day Wed 14th: Saying goodbye I wanted to put all the Coldplay stuff during the week-end 'cause that's when we'll be the most people. The free days means that you can either do things on your own or we can all think out something to do together. Nothing on the list is mandatory, of course! It's just suggestions that I think will give everyone a nice time in London. NOT MANY DAYS LEFT NOW! :awesome: I'm so excited. Any objections or things you want to change? June 21, 201016 yr Sounds good! I was thinking of visiting Oxford or Cambridge so maybe i could do that on a free day. And I read somewhere what the best time off the day was to visit some tourist place, but I can't find it right now. So I keep searching.

June 21, 201016 yr Found it: Museums and galleries can be crowded with school parties, particularly at the end of terms, so it might be best to plan your visit to start after 2.30 pm during term-time. At other times of the year, visit early in the day and try and avoid weekends if you can. Coach parties are another source of congestion. They do, however, tend to follow a predictable path. To miss them, it is wise to steer well clear of Westminster Abbey in the morning, and St Paul's around the afternoon. The tower is usually busy all day. And some markets are only in the weekend, like Brick Lane Market and Columbia Road market on sunday and Portobello Road antiques Market on saturday. But I guess you already knew that.

June 21, 201016 yr aw! I'll be in dublin on the Coldplay day! :cry: but I did go down parkhill rd today to the beehive & bakery, and saw a bee buzzing from the beehive to the bakery, then he came out of the bakery and back to the beehive!!!

And that could be the British Museum, Natural History Museum or something like that, yes. Madame Tussaud's is in my opinion overrated and overpriced - I was there a few years ago - so I have decided not to put it into the planning. You are however free to visit it on your own and I'll provide directions or whatever you need. I have not prepared anything for the evenings. It's not that much fun to have a very tight schedule to stick to (I tried this with a couple of friends last year, it kind of takes the fun out of being on vacation) and everyone's not into musicals or whatever there might be. There are some brilliant indie clubs in the Camden area so we could do that one night, or see a musical (tickets are very easy to get if we plan like... two days ahead what we want to see, and we of course don't have to see the same one all of us!) So, anyway, the evenings are up for suggestions once we get to London!

I'll have time on the 12th as well, if anyone's not going out of town that day we could meet, too. If I don't get to go there earlier I want to go to the "Spaced" house (which is near the guys' old flat / pub where the "60 Minutes" special was recorded). And about theatre tickets: They're cheaper if you buy them on the day of the show. I can really really recommend Avenue Q!!! :awesome:
