The upper class music award (aka Mercury Music Award) last night went to Dizzy Rascal, beating off competition from Coldplay, Radiohead and The Darkness (weeeee)...if no-one has ever heard of him, he's a rapper from east London. Mixes rap with garage music, it's quite good from what I've seen on MTV, especially "Fix up, look sharp"

 

 

But The Darkness never won :( What a traversty!

I did not like dirtyrascals speach when he first came up.

He was sterotying a image, I come from there and not everyone has those persona's.

But hey, I'm sure The Darkness will win some other prizes. ;)

I wanted either Coldplay or Radiohead to win. I don't like The Darkness :P although I would have prefered them to win instead of that MC/rapper/whatever dude

they're this annoying flamboyant bunch of guys with a lead singer with a high-pitched voice. well I'm not sure what they are, but they annoy the hell out of me! :P

its terrible! well, I'm not sure about Damien Hirst, he's always beem weird to me, but for me the credibility of the Mercury Music Prize has declined slightly :/

i liked Coldplay`s nomination speech tho.....did any1 pic up the way Chris say`s botox...lol he sed it in a weird way,and Guy looked CUTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE lol
