I may be a northerner but I'm going for Blur in this poll, less In Yer Face.

I can't really vote, because I've never really listened to Blur, but I know that I don't like Oasis, so I guess I should go for Blur.

They like both bands quite a lot. I think they've dodged the question before when asked.

 

Chris is friends with Noel, but Blur have had a huge influence on their sound.

Wow, I would have picked more Oasis fans. But it is true that Blur have had more of an influence on Coldplay's music.

 

Still, Oasis #1 for me. Blur never had anything as good as Oasis' first 2.

Blur for me. I love this group so much !

Oasis have songs that nobody will forget (Don't look back in anger :heart:) but they don't have the perfect discography, blur have it.

Blur is more colourful, powerful, better recorded and mixed, better sung, better composed, even better influenced, since for me Pink Floyd > Beatles.

so why has Oasis enjoyed such incredible international success while Blur never really made it out of the UK? 5 consecutive no.1 albums in the UK but never cracked the top 50 in the states and only one top 10 in australia.

More pop and less experimental/alternative? I think their music appeals to a larger market.
