It's November the 8th and I was having a coffee at Costa Coffee, or is it Coffee Costa?) and I hear a feckin Christmas song!!! And then I realise through the murmurings of chatter and clatter, that it's a cover of 2000 Miles completely oblivious that it was Coldplay's cover of the song! Then I realise and I think 'Great! First Christmas song, it's only 8th of November and it's from Coldplay!'. Well if it was going to be from somebody or some group, thank God it was from them.

What's the earliest you've seen a Christmas song, advert on tv? It's bloody ridiculous isn't it?

It's been Christmas since July. It's annoying.

As I've said before, there should be a ban on all Christmas decorations and songs in public until 1st December.:smug:

I completely agree.

Christmas never ends. Saw the first Christmas-related thing in February or something. I don't really give a shit to be honest.

Welcome to the joys of the modern Christmas.

I completely agree.

Perhaps we should start a campaign!!:P

I'm trying to avoid such things :(

it can get annoying!

Yeah, get the government to ban all expressions of a non-government-controlled popular holiday until a certain date, real smart

Well it would help stop Christmas being over-commercialised.:smug:

Get over it.

Perhaps we should start a campaign!!:P

A campaign against Christmas early advertising??? :wink3: I liiiiiiiiike it!!!

See Christmas decorations in shops, Tv spot etc. on november....It's a way to make life shorter

Christmas is a great holiday

but in the past few years, they started playing X-mas songs in September and August around here ( Thank GOD they haven't done that this year)

I like to hear Christmas songs around the end of November usually

Commercialism makes me want to barf. They don't care if you get to spend time with family and friends, they just want your mooolah. CONSUME CONSUME CONSUME CONSUME CONSUME. It'll make you HAPPY! And its great for the planet too!

Buy today and Pay later!

However if your a day late paying it in 6 months time, we will hit you with 6 months worth of interest at something stupid like 30% :P

..................in which case you can just apply for voluntary insolvency.

The shops have got to get their stuff sold, and not everybody leaves it to the last minute

It's kind of crazy. Yesterday I went to Cracker Barrel to eat dinner and everything was set up for Christmas already.

Well atleast it was that song :wacky:

I listened to my first christmas song today by mistake, :P

The Have yourself a merry little christmas at the end of the A ghost download.

They were doing a Christmas count down in the summer on the radio...

we usually start decorating for christmas around october. malls sell stuffs for christmas right after all soul's day (nov. 2). :D

the holiday whining comes early I see (ignoring the outrage over halloween). For the dozens of 'I hate Christmas' threads sure to appear within the next month and a half, I'd just like to say in advance ":whatever: off" :wink2:
