I just find it rather depressing that Radiohead fans have to sign up to a Coldplay forum just to talk about Radiohead. That's like someone joining the KKK just because they have a love of white robes.

*makes a hasty exit*

Um, wow, I never signed up here to just talk about Radiohead. Nice generalizing there. Also, I pointed out how much I liked Coldplay too.

Good call! If I want to talk about a one eyed man droning and boring the piss out of us, I'd join the Labour Party forum.

there must be at least one song that you like.

Why don't the radiohead fans get more radio-active, and start a groovin' forum of their own??;)

That's a great idea. Though I am much too lazy:disappointed:

I would discuss of Coldplay ....

If people were not interested so much in their faces

Exactly. I've been meaning to bring this up. The reason Radiohead fans have such a large presence here is because we don't sit here talking about HOW HOT Radiohead is all day, as opposed to Coldplay fans who talk about how they'd love to have Chris Martin's babies 24/7. We discuss the music, which is what it's all about.

So I have never cared for Radiohead, but I just checked out 15 step and House of Cards and I really like them. I think Radiohead is growing on me.

Well, what excites the girls is looks/action/romance/etc. It's not my cup of tea either, but it goes with the territory. Radiohead has it cinched in the creativity department, that I agree on without a doubt. But can they wow an audience like Coldplay? Do they ever incorporate a school bell into their act?? Hmm?:P

And considering the political relevance of Coldplay's music, as well as charity support, what does Radiohead offer in these regards? (no offense, just wondering..).?

You should blame the girls for Coldplay's obsession.

Radiohead are extremely political. If you listen to a bunch of their songs they talk of power, leaders, and the future (2+2=5, Idioteque, Sit Down Stand Up, The Gloaming).

Also Radiohead (particualry Thom) are very outward in helping the environment. They have been to many environmental meetings (Friends of the Earth), but also even their last tour made sure that their lightinng equipment was Eco-friendly/energy saving, and also had equipment sent by boat (so as to not pollute via air)

:laugh3: I wouldn't say they're ugly, but artists tend to go for the unusual look, for effect methinks.

Imagine if Thom shaved neat and trim, and jumped about more on stage... perhaps that would drive the gals crazy??;)

Great metaphors in their music - and videos. Capture the essence of our dreams..

I'm very impressed - they sound very well grounded in what they stand for - rare in the realm of celebrity...

I can honestly say I have never based my music choices off of what the artist or band looks like. As long as they make good music that's all I care about and yeah it doesn't hurt if they are attractive, too. But I actually want the music I'm listening to, to have some meaning.

^yeah, most of the time i don't have a clue what the bands/artists look like until after i've heard their music a few times.

but it is nice when the people are attractive. :P

 maybe it would.

i'm sure they're nice people, though (someone can correct me if i'm wrong :P) and i'm sure they make great music (haven't ever really listened to Radiohead, tbh, it doesn't really seem like the kind of music i'd be interested in). :nice:

You just made the greatest decision you'll ever make.

I decided I liked Radiohead more when Coldplay started playing the same thing every night...

If you like Radiohead, then you must have a Coco computer fettish.:P (let's see if anyone here understands..)

Same exact thing happened to me. I had heard of them before, but never really got around to listening. I saw Thom and Jonny perform 15 Step at the Grammy's and they blew me away. Slowly...slowly...I got more and more into them until eventually I was able to consider myself a pretty big fan, and I have a feeling this is only the beginning.

Trust me, it's a slow process, but once you start, it's impossible to stop. They blow me away more and more every day.

Thom Yorke has done a Bridge School Benefit Concert...they give to charity...

HEY.

it's not my fault Radiohead is so ugly. :p

Are you joking?

Good to hear! It's all about the music.

:dozey: Yea that makes me mad.

If you like Radiohead more than Coldplay, that's fine with me. :nice:

THANKS MAN :nice:

I like how you post the ugliest picture of Thom.
