^ Really? I guess I didn't realize it was possible to post fake real estate listings. Well, I don't live in London so maybe the rules are different there.

EDIT: btw, I'm just referring to the one with street number 19 being for sale, not the other one.

Nobody's suggesting the sign is fake. It is totally feasible that building houses more than just a recording studio. It is pretty spacious after all. What is beyond question is that the Beehive entrance leads into that building, therefore the studios must be in there somewhere, even if they're just in the basement.;)

Nice!I'm still hesitating between UCL and King's :D:D

UCL does tend to rank above King's. I would have liked to apply to UCL but they don't accept Canadian high school students for medicine :(. I don't know much about any either of their post grad courses though. I hope you make the right decision for you. :)

We actually saw Miller walk into Fleet Road 17, that's 19 (which is also for sale).

Oh, well. :dozey:

What Anna said. The people we saw were walking into the building next to 19 (19 is the one for sale). And I misspoke myself, it's selling for £1.75 million, not £1.2 million. The floor plan on the property listing shows all of 19 for sale, not part of it. The Beehive is the other one... that people are actually walking into... that has oodles of security measures... I could go on.

I saw people walking from the Bakery to the Beehive by the 19th and Bea talked with a man who has confirmed that both were used by the band.

This means there really is a Church of Chris Martin.

Oh that site is really sick! I thought it was a clever paraody of extreme fandom and evangelicals at first, but no - its deadly serious

Can I be bold and ask Coldplay747 if he's linked to the band at all? (just a theory I have :) )

OMG! I'm way behind here as I haven't been on much lately. But well done for finding the place!

The funny thing is from the side view that place does look like an old church! I was looking on Google street view the other week to see where the Bakery was and saw that place, didn't think twice about it.

I'm going to London at the end of next week, I think I may just have added something to my itinerary ;) :D

It could well be that Coldplay did actually use an old Church for some recording sessions until the building work was completed in this building (early in the New Year according to their blogs)

I doubt they would have wanted to work around all the building work going on, and they did say they had abandoned the Bakery after VLV tour

I wouldn't be suprised if they get a third building for the next album!

Yes, I completely agree with you that both the Bakery and the Beehive are being used. The issue is which building is the Beehive, and all signs point to it's not the brick one on the corner with the real estate sign that is going for £1.75 million with an online listing that has pictures inside and floor plans showing the entire space of the brick building being for sale and not just a portion of it. It's the one next to it (closer to the Bakery).

I have no idea how much of those buildings is "The Beehive", but I do know that the arched door at the side is significant. It IS an entrance to the studios. I can't reveal how I know this, but my source is extremely reliable and has proven themselves to be so on previous occasions.

While we were there, we also saw some girls entering via that door carrying what looked like musical instruments.

Therefore if somebody is saying they have also seen Miller or someone else entering via the black door nearer to The Bakery, it is only reasonable to conclude that at least some of the area between those two doors is also significant, even if it is all underground (which, of course, is possible).

So even if nothing behind the wall in question is part of The Beehive, I would say there's a very good chance we were at least standing directly above it.

Of course, unless anyone has actually been inside, we are unlikely to ever know for sure.;)

Your last point is true, there is no way for us to really know for sure. However, logically I must say based on the the floor plans on the real estate listing that behind the brown brick wall isn't part of it because it is shown in the indoor pictures. (If anyone is doubting the details I mention, I can point them in the direction of the online real estate listing.) Also I think the real estate company would be required to disclose if there was some underground/basement area that wouldn't be included in the sale.

Really, you all saw ladies bringing musical instruments through the zilch-o security door of the brown brick building with the for sale sign, and you just now mention it? And you didn't get any pictures, even though that would have taken a bit of time for them to get instruments through such a tiny door? Wow, you must be bummed.

Okay I think I'm done making my point now, I'll let people draw their own common sense conclusions. I'll end with the Mark smilie for good measure: ;)

Ok, I don't know you, so I can't pass judgement on anyone I have never had the pleasure of meeting, but, you are indeed entitiled to your opinions, you can't really prove the picture that was taken by the people in front of the building is not part of said Beehive, and Mark can't either, but to have the sarcasim about them not taking pics of said girls with the instruments seems a bit harsh, why burst a group of peoples bubble for their excitement of having a cool pic moment on what they truely believe was part of the Beehive? Just because they didn't take a pic of the girls and instruments doesn't mean it didn't happen:\ and not to sound or come across as an ASS I too shall leave with a smiley:) and a kiss:kiss:

^ I know, and I apologize, this is some frustration that boiled over from something unnecessarily started by someone in that picture in another thread (lashing out at us for a situation that was not caused by us on that day). Too much drama to discuss here. Trying to make my point nicely hasn't worked and that's when my sarcastic snarky side comes out, and I truly do apologize if that offends anyone.

Can anyone lend me about 2.100.000€ please? :o

That place looks lovely and nothing like >300m² from the outside!

I want it! :P

Oh it's cool by me, I didn't know there was drama behind it:confused:, I was looking back at pages 14 thru 20 and those pics that I believe Coldplay 747 posted, the brick wall that runs down fleet road looks connected to the church itself, I wasn't there, I only visited the Bakery, last year, not knowing anything about that damn church being the next Coldplay funhouse:P

Haha, me too! Now I have to go there agáin. :P

In which case, how do you explain the fact that somebody mentioned seeing Miller entering through the black door (number 17)? If both entrances are being used, there must be some way they connect up, either behind that wall or underground (unless of course there's a corridor that goes round the back?

Not that it matters, but they appeared to be small percussion instruments. The women carrying then entered and left by the "arched" door. As I said before, one thing that is beyond question is that the arched door IS an entrance to The Beehive, as this has been confirmed by my source.

Wow, you must be bummed.

Whatever your opinions on the subject, I think the tone/sarcasm is totally unnecessary. I'm sure most Coldplayers will be happy just to see the photo and be pleased that we had the idea to do it. It's only a bit of fun, and the fact you appeared to try to discredit it seems to smack of jealousy. I can't think why that would be the case, but that's definitely how it comes across.:dozey:

I couldn't have put it any better myself, Tracy. I don't see why it even needed to be mentioned. It isn't as if anyone has said at any stage The Beehive is 100% behind that wall. The only thing I know for sure is that the arched door is 100% an entrance to The Beehive, as I confirmed this information via somebody who knows for sure.;)

I know the comment you're referring to, but it has nothing to do with this photo, and nothing to do with anyone else in the photo.

The member concerned was personally frustrated and was just making her feelings known.

I have no idea whether these frustrations were in any way justified or not, but she is entitled to vent her feelings.

There are some others who also weren't entirely happy about certain things that happened, but it's entirely up to them whether they choose to speak about them or not.

What is important is whether everyone who participated had a good time, and it appears everyone did, whatever "gremlins" there may have been.

True - until it was revealed to be "The Beehive" nobody had given it a second thought, and it's very likely that until the end of last year it was indeed totally insignificant!:P

The Coldplay "house of fun"? What are you implying?:P

^ The post before last is very funny. If any of Coldplay are reading this they must be pissing themselves laughing that although their new building has been 'discovered' its exact location is causing so such concern and arguments amongst certain corners of fandom!

Re secret tunnels between buildings, it sounds like Whitehall! I hope Coldplay are not developing a bunker mentality in the face of obsessive fandom!

Well it can't be any "funnier" than the initial sarcastic comment which prompted it.

As I said, I don't actually give a monkey's whether the studios are behind that wall or not.

The initial comment was totally unnecessary IMO.;)

Well clearly if the doors of both 17 and 19 are entrances to The Beehive (I can only confirm number 19 is) and nothing behind that long wall is anything to do with the studios, an underground walkway/tunnel is the only other feasible explanation.

Unless, of course, you're suggesting Miller can walk through solid walls, or the person someone thought was Miller was actually a hologram!!:P

Anything is possible, I suppose....................................
