But does it rain now in england? i hope that M4 and M5 will be safe

I'm about 15 minutes from Stansted at the moment and I'm sorry to say it's pouring with snow :(

When is your flight?

I'm so worried, I have to get trains on Saturday morning to get to Exeter and yes, public transport sucks when there's even a tiny bit of snow here. :(

:bomb: :bomb: I still can't quite believe I'm actually going to this. I'm going to see Coldplay, with just FIVE HUNDRED other people in a Christmas Marquee in Devon. If you'd told me this a week ago, I'd never believed it. Period.

I hope (if there is) snow that it won't get in the way of anyone travelling... it only takes a centimetre of snow to grind everything to a hault here. Hoping the roads won't be too clogged or delayed... at least I've got the whole day clear to get down, we will be leaving as early as poss so we can get something to eat beforehand and get there with lots of time. I can't imagine there being a queue outside before 6 if these temperatures stay till Sat... it's literally freezing here! Does anyone know for certain if we will be seated or standing? I'm assuming it will just be a stand up concert which means I'm going to be struggling to see the stage as usual... I should take a box to stand on. :laugh3: Unless I can get right to the front, although I'm not sure that would be possible. Oh, to be at the front. :awesome:

I know whst you mean about not believing it, I only found out at 4pm yesterday that I could go. I have the shortness problem too and said to Alison that we should take boxes to stand on!

I'm seriously worried. I'll be at stansted at 23.30 tomorrow evening. then i'll take a rent car with my friend, and we have to drive directly to exeter in the night.

i really hope that M4 and M5 will be ok because if this is not so it would be seriously a big problem for us to come there.

suggestions?

You'll have the whole night to get to Exeter so you can take your time and drive really carefully. I'm sure you'll be fine! :)

yeah i know this but i have to sleepe if i want to go to the concert. :D i hope that it would not be necessary to go queueing before 15.00..it will be a little place so i think that we could go there in the afternoon, or not?

thanks for suggestions...

If it stays as cold as it is no-one will be queuing all day.

I'm driving half way tomorrow and doing the rest of the journey on Saturday... and if it's as cold as it is now, I won't be joining the queue early

Weather will not keep Coldplayers from the gig, we're all made of tougher stuff than to let a little snow get in the way :D

Just seen that Lily Allen has pulled out due to a "throat infection"!

I'll still be there whatever happens - Snow?? What snow!!!

now i'm more sorry that i couldn't go to this gig.

i think e-ticket could be good if someone (lilly alen's fans) cancell his ticket via hmv, so others can buy them, and get them by email.

Worth a shot!

I emailed the Oracle a couple of days ago to, to ask if there was anything we could do to persuade them to perform it!

Have a safe trip everyone, to those driving through the snow, be careful! :nice:

And have a fantastic time!!!

yeah! i did the same a week ago!

So does that mean that Coldplay get a bigger slot or maybe they'll replace her?

It's a shame cos I was looking forward to seeing her too but I'm not majorly bothered.
