And yes, Zidane screwed everything in 2006 !
at least the last final gave the world's psychologists something to talk about for the next four years so it wasn't all wasted effort!

ooh, U.S. and England are in the same group. I'm reasonably confident we can actually make the bracket stage this time :dozey:.

Germany 2006 sucked balls - only Germany's half entertaining exploits made it interesting. Bit like in 1939 then.

Haha good point here :D

The Dutch got a good draw, huge potential to do well as usual just hope they don't choke. Go Oranje!

I hope Coldplay would perform with Viva la vida on the openning and Italy will play more better this time at least for Mc_squared:rolleyes:

Rooting for my home country of course. But I doubt anything will happen for them. So when they fail miserably, I root for my second closest country, England. Best of luck to the both of them, and I can't freaking wait for the World Cup. :freak:

Glastonbury Festival to broadcast England World Cup 2010 match

Glastonbury festival organiser Emily Eavis has confirmed that an England World Cup 2010 match will definitely be broadcast at the bash.

England are due to play Slovenia in their final group game of the World Cup at 3pm (BST) on June 23 – the same day the festival opens to the public.

Eavis used her Twitter account to respond to queries about whether the match would be broadcast on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury. She Tweeted: "Yes, we'll be showing the Weds game on the Pyramid screens."

However, Eavis did not state whether Glastonbury would broadcast England's possible next game, which – presuming the team qualify for the knockout stages of the competition – is due to take place either at 7:30pm on Saturday, June 27 or at 3pm on June 28.
