I didn't understand what time will the show be on air ... :D In The anchorman's message on coldplay.com the time is stated as Friday, January 22, 2010 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and in addition to this 7:00 p.m CT. I hope that this can help you. I looked in the first post on this thread where 8 pm is mentioned (http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/163...19/jay_z.jhtml.) So I will watch MTV (hoping that MTV/Denmark joins in) at 8 p.m. (ET = European Time?/PT = Paris time?) - I don't know. 7:00 pm must be in ENGLAND, although I am not sure of the abbreviations including CT. Have a nice day. :)
January 21, 201016 yr ET is Eastern Time (USA & Canada) PT is Pacific Time CT is Central Time (USA & Canada) they all refer to the USA, so in central Europe it should be 2 am on saturday and in UK on 1 am.

I can't find anything in local newspapers here :\ the Anchorman and mtv.com/news (see post 1 here) wrote that the concert will be aired on a lot of major stations at 8 o'clock p.m. ET/PT and 7 p.m. CT. I did not know these abbreviations, but IRIDEN (Denise) did - THANKS FOR ENLIGHTENING US, DENISE :) - ET = Eastern time (USA + Canada) - 8 o'clock PT = Pacific time CT = Central Time (USA + Cenada) 7o'clock. 8 p.m. in New York (time difference of 6 hours) = 2 am Central European time (CET) 8 o'clock in New York (time difference of 5 hours) = 1 am in the UK. I found the National Geographic International TV programme for today - and from 2 to 3 (Danish / German time) it said HOPE for HAITI. I just wondered: Only one hour, and I understood that more than 100 artists had said YES to participate! I was a little surprised that Anchorman did not state when the concert will be aired in European time as well as Coldplay and a group of BONO, the EDGE, Jay-Z and Rihanna are playing in a LONDON location.
