February 7, 201016 yr 2001 was quite a year for me music wise. Of course with the horrible events of Semptember 11th, the world watched as so many innocent lives died. People came together and were unified stronger than i've ever seen. I remember watching a tribute for 9/11 called "The Concert for NY". Being only in 8th grade, it was quite scary to live at this time, but this concert was very moving, and showed how music could help to bring people together and rise up even after such a tragedy. It was from that concert that I got into my first band on my own. Prior to this I always listened to The Beatles and only them. It was this Concert for NY that I saw The Who play a few songs and I really enjoyed them so much. From that point on music would never be the same for me. After the concert I listened to that band so much, and although I grew quite tired of them after a few years, they opened my eyes to see that there was so much more music out there. From there I moved on to many other bands. February 8, 201016 yr and i can't believe i forgot to mention origin of symmetry. In my opinion up to citizen erased it's their best album. after that i think it goes downhill a bit Really? I think "Megalomania" is an EXCELLENT closing track. What better way to end than with a cornucopia or organ? :wacky:

February 9, 201016 yr i'll have to check out feel good lost. I like that elbow album but i think it's probably their weakest amnesiac, in my opinion is radkohead's worst album. still a must listen of course. and i can't believe i forgot to mention origin of symmetry. In my opinion up to citizen erased it's their best album. after that i think it goes downhill a bit Feel Good Lost is really different than other Broken Social Scene releases because it doesn't really feature that many vocals. But I still love it. Sometimes you just need a great instrumental album and this is one of them. Its interesting right through, you can listen through the whole thing and be satisfied.
