Gonna be a GOOOD game today.

I cannot be more impressed with Holland. Here's a country who we all thought that they were relative dark horses but no one, NOT ONE person said, they will win the World Cup. Now they are just one match away from winning the world cup. I have to say despite always being a fan of theirs I didn't ever seriously contemplate them winning this world cup. I always expect them to do well in the Euros but not the World Cup. They've always thrilled during tournaments but always have one bad match in the knockout rounds where they go out but this time they started off solid but unspectacularly but seem to have evenly spread their talent and consistency across all matches this time round. Quite a feat once again for a tiny nation but as shown again ALWAYS maximising their football talent!

if holland wins the final I'm going to Baarle-Hertog (or somewhere else in Holland :P) with friends and have a party with bad beer there :P

European people are so gay when they play football. They can't stand that somebody touches the ball with the hand, but when they do it it's all right. And if you touch them they instantly fall to the ground as if they were shot on their back, and the worst thing is that they stay on the ground for minutes crying and the medics have to go, and two minutes later they are playing as if nothing happened.

Not ALL Europeans do that when playing football and safe to say other countries outside of Europe do it as well.

And on the first minutes of the match, the referee called three offsides and when you look the replay they were clearly not offsides, and the second goal of Holland it was clearly an offside but he didn't call it. If that's not being robbed please explain me what it is.

Uruguay played a great match yesterday, they are a very good team :) I saw some players who used to play in Argentinian teams :D

officials made mistakes

the second goal was NOT offside (if i'm thinking about the right one, are you saying van persie was offside because he was on line with the defender, watch the replay)

had he not been level i would have said it was offside because he was active since the ball went so close to him and the keeper could possibly have been anticipating a deflection

What a poor loser. That is one thing I can't stand. When somebody's team loses and then they cry conspiracy and say it is all the referees fault etc.

If I remember correctly the referee was more than generous to Uruguay yesterday in stoppage time as he could have ended the game a few times but allowed them to have a few more chances. Just sayin'

The rule of offside says that the intention of the player that is on offside to participate in the play is counted as an offside, even if he doesn't touch the ball. ;)
