I LOVE LOVE LOVE Seattle! It is an amazing city. I live about an hour and a half out side of the city, but go in as often as I can. Going this weekend to see RUSSEL FUCKING BRAND! I love him. He is doing stand up at the Moore. I don't miss the corn one bit. ;)

Thank you so much Julia (aka. Gitta Rensolo) for helping me with a link to this thread that definitely - imho - deserves to be voted as BEST THREAD (started ANYTIME) - Coldplay section and BEST NEW THREAD (started in 2010).

The story is so moving bringing tears to my eyes. And from the comments from other coldplayers at the time - spring 2010 - also many other coldplayers were very moved by it.

So if you agree with me, then please

BEST.THREAD.EVER. Angie....I cant believe I have only just seen this!!! I had booked to go to Mexico City so would have been hanging out with you as I had a reservation at the Four Seasons too. :( I felt so happy for you reading this and so sad that I couldnt be there due to unforseen circumstances! The hotel looks GORG! xxxx

Well it took over an hour...but I read it all! WOO! And I have to say it is simply an amazing story. =D

I am glad that the bump gives some of you who have not yet had the chance to read these very moving and awesome threads, the opportunity to read them.

I am glad that Angie's (Texasluvsjonny-s) mission was successful so that the little red MINI made it to Coldplay themselves.

R.I.P., dear Ryan!

THANKS TO ANGIE / TEXAS LUVS JONNY, Ryan's little read MINI reached its target. The mission was accomplished: The little red MINI was photographed with the Coldplay members, and they were all told about Ryan, her fate and her little red MINI. And they were all very moved by this story like the rest of us.

And in DC on July 8, 2012, it comes full circle. So happy for you Julie.

From the DC thread:

Two years ago Angie (Texasluvsjonny) was kind enough to take Ryan's MINI with her to Mexico to see Coldplay. During her trip, she was fortunate to meet Guy, Will, Jonny and Chris and have them take photos with Ryan's MINI. I can't put in to words how much that meant to me as I had always hoped to take my daughter Ryan to a Coldplay show when she got older. Tonight, with Angie buy my side, I was lucky enough to meet Chris myself and tell him how much their music meant to Ryan and I and that their music had helped to create many memories. 'Coldplay' was the forth or fifth word Ryan learned to speak. I shared with Chris that while they were playing Paradise and I looked out at all of the beautiful blinking colored lights, I thought to myself, if there was a heaven and Ryan is there, I hope it looked like that.

Chris was very giving of his time tonight and I had fun talking to him about the setlist and whether I would ever get to hear Shiver, Amsterdam or Low, but the highlight of course was talking to him about Ryan.

What a perfect night. Thank you for being there Angie!!!

My niece was there as well....I'm so glad to have shared this with her.

I am so glad that Julie met Chris and that she could share some memories of Ryan with Chris.

I remember the story of how Ryan's little red car ended up in the hands of the Coldplay members and crew. A very moving and unforgettable story.

I remember this unforgettable story was one of the first that I read when I joined the forum

I just read the whole thread.. I think the idea is amazing and it is SO nice that Julie now got to meet Chris herself. Wonderful :)

Awww omg that is so sweet.. :)

SUCH a lovely story. thanks so much for sharing.

ohh now I got one more reason to love coldplay&coldplayers

i know that's a little bit (2 years :P ) late to say but thanks for sharing your lovely story Angie!! y

Another one here who just read the entire thread (where was I in 2010 that I missed this?)

Congrats to Angie for her amazing trip and adventures and thanks for the pics and the entire story. Angie's descriptions were so wonderful, it felt like I was in Mexico City with her! (would have had a Margarita though)

It's also nice to hear that the Coldplay boys are lovely and talk to fans, and furthermore, that the Coldplayers who meet them are polite and thoughtful.

Thank you Angie!

Angie is the ultimate Coldplayer!! And Julie, so glad Ryan's memory

is still glowing so brightly and her little mc

is still traveling the world in her honor.

Julie, very happy that the DC shows went so well :)

I read the whole thread just now and it is SO AMAZING.

Wooow, thank you so much for sharing that with us, it's so touching, and I'm so glad you could fullfill your goal with the Mini it's such a wonderful thing.

Thank you Angie and wonderful pics and adventures.

It was really lovely to read that :wacky:
