Exactly. I was kind of on the fence about whether it is Chris or not, but if EMI is monitoring youtube, then aren't all the coldplay covers by random fans, ie piano, guitar, etc, infringing on copyright, too? They leave all of those alone. My son was recently in a high school play and the director was adamant about not having any videos from the performances put online - they had bought the rights to the script, but not video rights. And she could get in trouble for posting videos. Not that I'm any expert, but, like I said, EMI just doesn't seem concerned about any fan covers, so I'm now thinking that the "leak" may be legit.

I remember on a latin america interview Chris and Jon spoke about how extra secure accessing their recordings is at The Beehive cause of what happened last time. They said not even themselves knew how to access the files, only 2 people in the studio. So who knows about these. It's odd it sounds like 2 different persons from one song to the other, Wedding Bells sounds like it may not be Chris

^Yeah I remember that interview too. I'm choosing not to listen to any of these "Coldplay demos" in case they are real. It feels wrong to me to listen to something that is not meant to be heard yet. I want new songs just as much as everyone else, but I'll wait patiently until Coldplay themselves want us to hear them and feel that the songs are complete. I don't know, but that's just my way of thinking.

Well, if these demos were supposedly SUPA ENKRIPTED, would EMI really know what the demos are? What they sound like?

I mean, Coldplay probably have a ton of songs that are possibly on this new album and I kinda doubt EMI would know.

Maybe this surveyor person thought it was convincing enough to be Chris and took it down.

It's not like they'd ask the band if it was beforehand, it went down in 1 day.

If they have loads of demos, i can't see why they couldn't post several up? I mean they don't seem to mind if they get reported.
