As a compliment to his recently released Invasion Radio 2K10 Mixtape, DJ Green Lantern unearthed an old Jay-Z song featuring Chris Martin.

 

 

Originally, the lyrics heard from Jay were featured on the Funkmaster Flex show a while back. But as Miss Info reports, Green Lantern had the acapella's of Jay's verse since 2006. The lyrics just needed a beat, which were attempted by the likes of Timbaland and Just Blaze and even Lantern himself. The end result was heard on Funkmaster Flex's show and Coldplay's "Lost (remix)". The track was also a by product of the same session Martin and Jay-Z recorded "Beach Chair", their collaborative track featured on Jay-Z's Kingdom Come.

Hm. I don't think Jay-z's rapping + weird drumming beat sounds good. The part with Chris is interesting but doesn't fit. There's no notable transition between weird drum beat and synth Chris voice.
