October 23, 201015 yr I can criticise religion because it impacts on my life. To say that its off limits its a joke, If you want to live like that go live in Middle East where if you say you do not believe the punishment is death. I dont care if people believe in god but keep it to yourselves and out of education, science & medicine because as my favourite quote says, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Also, where was religion before 30,000 years? God just sat back and waited for humans to naturally, randomly evolve (random in the sense of mutation and genetic variation)? Why didnt he just create man whole? surely he could if he created life? Its funny how the religious cherry pick what they believe. The religious are the Ignorant ones, even when presented with all the evidence in the world they do not accept it, the same cannot be said about scientists. I agree with every word. Can't really add anything, even if I'd love to.

Religion impacts on our lives here in the middle east more than it does anywhere else in the world because it right there everywhere you look, the seats in the parliament are divided by religion, the government, politics....and we have criticized it, we have protested against letting it interfere in every aspect of our lives, just last year they passed the law that they shouldn't put religion on ID cards and people are free to be atheists, muslims, christians we don't have relegion police..."the punishment is death?":laugh3::laugh3: in the Kingdom of Saudi maybe:laugh3: but i do agree with keeping religion out of education...etc. Also, where was religion before 30,000 years? Firstly - I said the Middle East because its true that in parts of the Middle east you can't criticise religion....like Saudi Arabia, and these countries for example, some of which are in the Middle East... Iran – illegal (death penalty) Saudi Arabia – illegal (death penalty Nigeria – illegal in twelve of 37 states (death penalty) Qatar – illegal (death penalty) Sudan – illegal (death penalty) Mauritania – illegal (death penalty) Afghanistan – illegal (death penalty) Somalia – illegal (death penalty) Yemen – illegal (death penalty) And anyway, I didn't mean the whole of the Middle East, It was just an example, I'm sure there are places there that are much much freer in comparison. Secondly - I can accept it, I do not agree with it because its ridiculous, but I accept other people choose to believe whatever makes them feel warm inside. They can go right ahead but keep it out of science.
October 23, 201015 yr I read all the topic well fall of religions make love not war is war even here in this tread Religions is boring more and more to me . I also study the Bible and the history of religions. and not that I criticize this or this religion . each beliefs. but simple creation with intellectual normal made great thing .

People Fail to understand there is a middle way.
October 24, 201015 yr People Fail to understand there is a middle way. I don't, if you are referring to me. But there is believing in god, and then there are the major organised religions, as well as certain smaller ones and cults too.
October 24, 201015 yr :) Hi Greg ! This will be a never ending debate. I think I will stick to the womanly boobs thread. At least I am an expert there LOL
October 24, 201015 yr Although I typically a good debate, I've grown increasingly convinced that threads of this sort never furfill any real intellectual purpose, but just become a playground for self-righteous, arrogant douchebags. If you're generally interested in the subject, a coldplay forum is the last place you should go to compare stances. So true, mon ami. I'm not even going to get involved here, and all I'm gonna say is, it doesn't matter whether you believe in God, science, or the Flying Spaghetti Monster; nothing gives you the right to rip on someone else because they believe differently than you do. It's called tolerance, people.
October 24, 201015 yr Dog and God are one in the same!:sunny::husky::huskyhug::) GoD and DoG by Wendy Francisco Dog as Deity, Ancestor and Royal Animal
October 24, 201015 yr that I think http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creationism U.S. is easy to invent, innovate. but contains is so young. there would most certainly find the human existence in the south. Mayan ect .. anyway when a new religion appears, is to contradict another religion. but if politics is not faith in God or religion. religion is money. religions are political to make money and destroy the world. we are puppets for the politicians. and selfish all . Just one example stupide . is exactly like saying Madonna is famous because it will save America. she wants to help humanity. true but the comfort have selfish needs. clip american life or Hey you [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yV62jihn10A]YouTube - Madonna - American Life [Official Music Video] [1080p HD][/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-q0NJllydKs&feature=related]YouTube - Madonna - Hey You [Official Music Video] [1080p HD][/ame] if I could talk to God. I would say. why people want to be superficial to the point of destroying their own existence. it's fashion, indifference from part of not having feelings is not human destroy the world . selfish , politics money all for destroy . THIS MOODS I HATE !!! and knowledge, human evolution, wisdom. hope in life. a quiet world. a simple world . where? the Koran is a wonderful book too as bible. says : thou shall not kill. I imagine the boomerang of God if God had a soul on them. Religious war not exist more is just politic MORE MONAY and to give a false pretext of religion faith . For me is shit to speak of Evolution or Creationism! if there is not even the value human being to speak of consciousness .
October 24, 201015 yr People Fail to understand there is a middle way. Seriously you need to read things properly, I already stated that I have no problem with deists, That's inbetween, is it not?

Afterall, they are just the holiest, most devout followers of their religion?
October 24, 201015 yr I wonder if this thread will ever die. Lol no, thats a good thing, it created alot of debate!
October 24, 201015 yr Author Lol no, thats a good thing, it created alot of debate! I wouldn't call it a debate, it was just a whole lot of miscommunication, misunderstanding, and name calling
