But oh my goodness, try putting a little bit of ground pepper in some earl gray tea, it's amazing :wideeyed:

I really want to try this 'earl grey' tea julia and you are talking about!!:wacky:

No milk, no sugar.

WHAT KIND OF TEA IS THAT!?:dead:

I'm quite surprised with the results so far in the poll, I know very few people not having milk out of hundreds I've seen drink tea :o

I'm rather surprised as well! I agree almost everyone i knew before i came to the US drank tea with milk!

That's because you live in the UK. :P

In the US, the only people I've seen put milk in their tea are my British neighbors.

Not a lot of people where i live drink tea :(

Tea without milk is like Coldplay without Chris.:dozey:

I'm such a great Swedish teacher.

"Char" happens to be another name for tea too!:P

I take my tea iced and sweetened, thank you very much. Or, in the case of Peace Tea, very cold. I don't drink hot tea.

Me too. :wacky: I've never tried it.

Same here, most of the people around here drink iced tea. Nowhere near as good as hot tea! :wacky:

Earl Grey tea is just... Tea without any flavour, except tea flavour of course.

I'm trying to imagine in my head what hot tea with milk would taste like. I know I think hot tea without it is just weird to me. I think that's just me being so used to drinking tea cold.

On the other hand, my best friend only drinks tea hot. She doesn't like iced tea at all. :freak:

Ice tea is nothing like hot tea, though. :uhoh:

Really? Huh.

Really? Huh.

It's a bit too sweet for me, and it just tastes . . . odd. It's hard to describe.

this :bomb:

I had hot tea for the first time today. I have discovered that for me, while milk isn't necessary, sugar is.

Also, I didn't mention this, because I forgot. It was chocolate hazelnut tea, and once I put sugar in it, it turned out to be quite delicious.

tea! now i remember why i went to the kitchen a couple of minutes ago :cheesy: thanks CPing for being so helpful.

as for the topic, with milk, please. sometimes honey as well.

I've actually never had it with milk, much to the annoyance of a British friend of mine. Just been drinking without milk since I was a kid.
