Funny you say that. While Grace is definitely one of the most gorgeous and passionate albums ever made. It's hardly the most original, considering the amount of covers on the album :)

fugitive_motel, You're right about the covers. But I was thinking about how he combined rock, folk and jazz in the he did on that album. By the way, he even sang some of the covers better than the originals. Guess which one? ;)

Well I must say I like nina simone's lilac wine...so I'd go for leonard cohen's hallelujah ;)

Even if there were many covers...his voice is just heaven :heart:

Eight years . . . it's been that long already? Such a shame that he died so young. He was a bloody amazing singer, and had one of the best falsettos I've ever heard.
