Needless to say, I'm a bit disappointed by the responses. A good majority of them were immature, narrow-minded, and flat-out obnoxious.

 

Last year, I posted the same thread in a U2 fan forum.

Unlike what happened here on Coldplaying, these U2 fans were more refined and gracious in their responses. They didn't throw around sarcastic comments or criticize me as being a weirdo.

Why is that these U2 fans responded politely to my Avril Lavigne thread, whereas Coldplay fans responded nastily?

Well making the topic itself was pretty sad, then to keep harping on at people in that thread for every single sarcastic response, but then to also make the same topic in another forum just to see people's reactions, weeks later, and then PMing around to ask people their opinions of why it's so different here, someone had to tell him the truth. Unbelievable.

 

Like why the fuck was it so important in the first place, nevermind to take it this far?
