Needless to say, I'm a bit disappointed by the responses. A good majority of them were immature, narrow-minded, and flat-out obnoxious.

 

Last year, I posted the same thread in a U2 fan forum.

Unlike what happened here on Coldplaying, these U2 fans were more refined and gracious in their responses. They didn't throw around sarcastic comments or criticize me as being a weirdo.

 

So I have one question for you-

 

Why is that these U2 fans responded politely to my Avril Lavigne thread, whereas Coldplay fans responded nastily?
