Seriously, though, I like this idea a lot. Especially because there's a release coming up and things can move super-fast, this will be a great way to sum everything up for people who actually have lives and can't be glued to the board all day :P. I just remember what March and June 2008 were like (OMG, I remember I made a calendar for June because it was so insane), so I think your idea is going to be cool and fun and useful all at the same time.

Well, I wasn't really expecting my idea to take off anyway :P but if there's still room for people to help out after the massive out-pour of support here then I'd love to join in! I hate the sound of my own voice though, so something behind the scenes is where I'd rather be. I like the idea of it being called ColdplayingTV, because that shortens to CTV, which is kinda catchy :D

I am going to be starting a new show exclusively ON YouTube FOR Coldplaying members. It'll be a fun and interactive way to find out what's been going on in weekly doses of the Coldplay world using news sources, insider information (there's always somebody with a scoop!), fan opinions and ofcourse, everybody on the board will be encouraged to share opinions in audio/skype interviews on hot Coldplay topics. I haven't got all the wires straightened out yet so I'm still looking for people to help me out and to figure out new formats that you would like to see in a weekly Coldplay news show. If you have any rad (yes, Rad) ideas or just want to help out in any way then raise your hand and starting in a couple of weeks we'll try and put it together.

well I'm nearly done finishing the script for the first episode.

we have the opening title sequences so far, obviously you know that people have submitted their CTV™ watermarks and I'll get everybody together to decide on which one we'll be using this week and at the moment Chelsea is writing some segments to use and there are people like yourself, Tomas and Brooke putting together some segment sequences :smiley: I'm aiming to have the first show recorded, edited and online in no less than a week! lots of hard work to do but everybody is pulling together on it!

The idea is very interesting and participation of as much fans as possible should be targeted. This should a group effort. Every aspect should be decided unanimously and decisions should be liked by all before publishing it. This is what I think.

it' definitely a democratic show.

and everybody who expressed an interest to do certain things have or will be contacted about it. So far there have been amazing and awe-inspiring contributions from about ten people. so don't worry, my friend.

We haven't discussed interviews yet but we'll get around to it at somepoint.

Why don't you do a segment every month (or maybe every week?) where you host a Coldplay discussion show where the fans give their opinions through email, skype, audio or video like 5 Live's 606 (football discussion show).
