All I know is that back when I used to work concerts, those numbers were regarded as something of a joke by people who would've been in a position to know. I believe the bone of contention has to do with things like them using stated venue capacity vs. specific show capacity, not properly figuring in comps, and things like that.

They are doing things to try to stem the tide, but it's easier said than done. Not to mention most of their initiatives haven't exactly been popular with the public.
