A gig comprising of mostly new songs receiving excellent reviews from random people via their twitter accounts is quite positive though...it's not like these are being published in magazine or newspapers...is just people tweeting that they saw a really good gig....and no that doesn't mean LP5 is definitely going to be great, but is certainly more hopeful, for me personally, than what I've been seeing in the last week :)

And their job isn't to tease us and sell a product - it's to write/play music that they're proud of. That they're attached to a record company on top of that is another thing. :shrug:

June 1, 201115 yr They did the same thing in 2002, played a handful of tiny gigs (one of which I was at :dance:) then played Glastonbury a few days later and we heard 7 or maybe 8 new songs. Then the album was released in August as they wanted to perfect a couple of songs when they returned from Glastonbury. I can't wait to hear the new stuff :)

Just like they did with ROBTTH, and they're nervous as heck about it! OMG and Angie and I get to see them at AUSTIN CITY LIMITS - after GLASTO - so whole new record live for US!!!!!
June 1, 201115 yr It seems someone doubt a lot for EVERYTHING. I'm super excited anyway. And as I told already, I think new album will be out in fall, just like someone said from Parlophone. We have no EMI branches in Korea and Warner Music Korea takes all of works for EMI. And Someone I know from Warner Music Korea said new single will be out at the end of June physically(and digitally on 3rd June) and hinted that they will be too busy to release new album in summer. All I know is that.
