June 1, 201115 yr Sorry double post. Will reiterate and say how excited I am to hear the new stuff. I'm not going to have the opportunity to go to any live festivals etc but hope that I'll be able to share in the excitement and am not taking any notice of any negativity as I know I will love it all.

June 1, 201115 yr Whose job to tease us? None of this has come from anyone in the band camp. A gig comprising of mostly new songs receiving excellent reviews from random people via their twitter accounts is quite positive though...it's not like these are being published in magazine or newspapers...is just people tweeting that they saw a really good gig....and no that doesn't mean LP5 is definitely going to be great, but is certainly more hopeful, for me personally, than what I've been seeing in the last week :) Ok, so chap from The Sun went to the gig and wrote how is he excited and it's has nothing to do with his job. Secondly since when was it the job of newspaper journalists to sell records exactly? :thinking: This guy is one of the few who actually like Coldplay, so maybe you could argue his opinion may be slightly biased, but you can't argue he is paid to promote them in any way, because he's not. He's paid to write a newspaper column.
