I noticed this while listening to HLH just now....does anyone else hear that a voice (presumably Will's) is singing along with Chris during the entire first verse?

 

It might be Will's, but I've always assumed it was Chris's voice run through a vocoder. As in, the same voice effect in Midnight, but not as heavy.

I mourn the fact that we will never have HLH as opener again. Don't like the studio version, but live it was so wonderfully warm and energetic. <3

For me, they offer different kinds of vibes. The general 'wall of sound' mixdown of the entire album was disappointing, imho. I think HLH would've benefited from a more live kind of production.
