Moving To Mars (found via iTunes pre-order)

UATW is a slow song, or isn't that slow enough?

True, but I actually prefer studio versions of slow songs over live versions (except for The Scientist).

And "See you soon"

Ages before we even knew much about LP5 and see the Songs written on the Wall and Piano and anywhere else on "60 Minutes", i had made myself a little Songlist ages ago

For the audiophiles around here: Absolute Radio has many different online streams, one of which is LOSSLESS! I'll record it ;)

 audiophiles

I dare you to post this message on HydrogenAudio.org :P

And yep, I'm an audiophile, I currently have 93.6GB of music, 91% of it in lossless formats.

I'm still wondering why it isn't available for pre-order in the US iTunes . . . you'd think we would be the first or second ones to get it . . .

So me, the Dane can actually pre-order before the Americans? Whoa! Weird..

Who wants to move to mars when you there's already life on mars

/ Bowie reference :dazzled:

I also bet the Alzheimers thing he was on about was Exile :surprised:

Moving to Mars Lyrics, just , enjoy...

Somewhere up above the stars

the wreckage of a universe floats past

Somewhere up above my heart

...a tiny little seed is sown

a government is overthrown

who knows when we'll be coming home at last

And I heard it on the radio that one day we'll be living in the stars

and I heard it on a tv show that somewhere up above and in my heart

They'll be tearing us apart

maybe moving us to mars

past the satellites and stars

maybe moving us to mars

We won't see the earth again in these seconds just remain unchanged

8 to 9, 9 to 10

we are meeting for the first time

We might never meet again you and me

we are meeting for the first time can't you see

76543

we are meeting for the first time

Singing this space symphony

they'll be tearing us apart

moving us to mars

past the satellites and stars

They're moving us to mars

story of my life~

but i don't know what lossless is, so i'm disqualified :|

Most of the common audio formats (like MP3) use lossy codecs (like LAME). They are not faithful reproductions of the original audio, because they remove parts of the audio in order to reduce the filesize, which ends up being 40% to 10% of the original uncompressed audio file. Lossless codecs (like FLAC) reduce the filesize in up to 50% without losing any quality.

LOL at the person who thought they were so great for finding the lyrics...

I really love these lyrics!! Though I love all astronomy related things so I'm probably a bit biased. (; They're amazing though. I really like the part

"We might never meet again- you and me,

we are meeting for the first time, can't you see?

Seven, six, five, four, three,

we are meeting for the first time."

:DD

i'm not sure why they keep giving us the lyrics before the music though. I mean I'm all good with it. [: But sometimes that's not always the best idea because sometimes the lyrics aren't among their best like with ETIAW. And I also noticed they've used the word heart in every single one of the new songs. Ye they never said that word even once in any of the older songs. I just think that's a weird thing of note. :)

This song is going to rock socksssss! :D

Yeah, well I had one that only held 2gb for years. :|

Yeah well before my ipod I had one with like 200mb and it could hold like 60 songs :blank:

We are really off-topic

. . . . So why bring it back now? :P

Not sure how many mine can hold, but it can't be too many 'cause it's a Shuffle
