Around when the Japanese webcast thing was supposed to happen, Radiohead uploaded the official video for Lotus Flower onto YouTube.

this is what i know. others might be able to elaborate.

 

initially we believe that the plan was to show the Lotus Flower on the big screen in Hochiko Square in Tokyo. but due to safety concerns they called it off but still hundreds of people gathered in front of the screen at 7pm japanese time. but nothing happened

 

instead Lotus Flower video went live and public on their youtube channel at that exact moment.

 

now XL recordings is telling us that the release of the album has been brought forward by 24hrs and we should expect the album in our inbox some time soon.

I think I will stay up.
