September 13, 201114 yr Dear Radiohead fans of Coldplaying.com, I sincerely thank you for helping to introducing me to Radiohead in January. If I hadn't started listening to them, I would likely be thoroughly depressed right now as a result of recent events. Well, maybe not quite that far, but you know what I mean. Thank you, Carrie
September 13, 201114 yr I can't wait for the cooler weather and gloomy seasons, I need the right kind of atmosphere for The King Of Limbs.

Thank you, Carrie Actually, if it weren't for that thread you made a while back, I would have never have gotten past their singles, so thank you!
September 14, 201114 yr I didn't know that A Punchup at a Wedding was released as a promo single. Do you have it? :)
September 16, 201114 yr New Thom Yorke solo debuted yesterday on XFM: [ame=http://soundcloud.com/tkol2/thom-yorke-twist]http://soundcloud.com/tkol2/thom-yorke-twist[/ame]
September 16, 201114 yr I'm a huge Radiohead + Thom Yorke fan .....and even I can admit "Twist" is mediocre.
September 17, 201114 yr That was strange..I don't dislike it, but I don't really know how I feel about it. edit: I like the second half much better.
September 17, 201114 yr ^yeah, second half is pretty good. It's obvious as to why this was unreleased, though.
September 17, 201114 yr That's because the second half isn't part of Twist :laugh3: It's Modeselektor: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBV_C44MuDQ]Modeselektor - Art & Cash (Phon.o Remix) - YouTube[/ame]
September 17, 201114 yr I guess my only concern is how it will sound. I noticed during the last season of SNL that the sound during the music performances wasn't balanced very well. It was heavily weighted with the lead singer mic output, so much so that the breathing was sometimes more noticeable than the music. I'd hate to see him get ticked off in front of millions of people because the sound is biffed.
September 18, 201114 yr Yeah, TV shows never work for bands (unless it's Jools Holland or something, which is made for bands). I guess the mixers/engineers don't know how to set up a band :\
September 18, 201114 yr I just had a eureka moment. The recent DAS posting was titled "On The Radio", announce Thom's two appearances. Maybe next week they'll have a post titled "On The TV", to announce their SNL appearance. Hmmm... keeping with the theme, maybe the following they'll have a post titled... "On The Stage" to announce an upcoming tour. please :bomb:
September 18, 201114 yr Rumors are floating around of RH playing 2 NY shows at Roseland Ballroom (where Thom/Atoms for Peace played in 2010)
September 18, 201114 yr Rumors are floating around of RH playing 2 NY shows at Roseland Ballroom (where Thom/Atoms for Peace played in 2010) While they're in NY after SNL? Or at some other time?
September 19, 201114 yr Looks like thom played a small acoustic set in the UK... not sure of the setlist at all though.
