Yeah, that's why I like it better than This. This just makes me wanna fall asleep.

Honestly this is the first time I've listened to anything by Modeselektor, so I don't really know how it compares with prior work. My overall impression... I don't know. I'd have to listen to these songs a few more times before I can give a proper analysis. That being said, I'm not exactly suffering from withdrawals from not listening to them a second time.

 

I'm just curious... both songs had long 'beeeeeeps' randomly throughout. Were those intentional, or just put in there afterward as a random annoying distraction to deter people from ripping them?

yeah. have you listened to the Thom Yorke/Modeselektor collab on the song The White Flash? I really like it!

 

 

Actually the beeps are intentional. Basically it's like an audio watermark so when people rip or download the song it isn't the full final version I guess. It's annoying.

edit: I think the Modeselektor Magpie remix is okay; it's a little too long/repetitive. Could have cut out like 2 minutes and I would have liked it better. But I REALLY like the Objekt Bloom remix... okay, love it love it love it! I know it seems weird, but I like the little touches like the discreet Alien-snarl sound effect... cool. :tongue:

I only got home now so I haven't listened to the new Modeselektor album yet. Also, I want to see them in Manchester in December so fucking much but I'm not sure if I can go :bigcry:
