I loved Fix You when I first heard it loooong ago, but now I do think that it is really overrated.

 

I agree. It's a pretty song to rock out to, but it doesn't have the lyrical genius or the soul of, say, How to Disappear Completely, or Nude.

I have heard it live. I saw them perform it in 2005, when Fix You was like, my second favorite song of theirs. I thought the lyrics were genius. They spoke to my teenage angsty self. But, then I discovered Radiohead, and now that song seems slightly laughable.

I don't "hate" Fix You or anything... Some people act as though it is Coldplay's best song ever, which I really disagree with. It's nowhere near being one of their best.

for me the only good part of fix you is the guitar solo, but then, oh chris's voice was so annoing. The cause of all coldplay's troubles is fix you...

Yeah, thanks. I felt bad for having a completely Coldplay-oriented... thing (avi, sig, etc..) especially since I spend all my time in Radiohead threads. I figure I put Radiohead stuff in my sig on At Ease. But, I wanted to show my love here too :)
