  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

I'm most interested in seeing their performance of Feral.

Only because I've got a bet with Mike.

What's the bet again? :laugh3:

I can't wait to see FTB :wacky: :wacky:

So, does anybody know if Radiohead is planning on touring with this album?? It's been so quiet since the release of KoL and it kind of frightens me a bit.

Um.... there was this interview with Phil on a Spanish radio and I think he said they're 'getting it together'. Something like that so we might get a chance to see them soonish

Basically a bet on how Feral will sound. She says it will be a piano song, I say it will be like The Gloaming

No idea... they band has been so quiet there's been no word. The only thing we know of is the FTB performance. But it's weird because you'd figure it'd be a perfect time to play shows in the summer, but I guess they aren't.

Ah, I see. We'll know soon, no worries there.

Well yeah that's precisely my point, people wouldn't have expected them to play LSP on piano.

CUZ DUDE THAT MAKES NO SENSE WHY ON EARTH WOULD THEY DO THAT

Feral is awesome. I'm really glad it is on the album. Has anybody tried popping Supercollider and the Butcher somewhere in the King of Limbs tracklist? Any order that makes it sound particularily awesome? If so I can just pretend we have a 10 track album.

It doesn't make sense really.
Cool story bro, that's the second time you said that. Mind offering up why you think it doesn't make sense? Of course I can think of a good reason why they wouldn't do it, but I don't want to spoon-feed it to you, I'm curious what your reason is other than "oy it don't make sense."

I can't figure out how Supercollider would fit, but if I were to keep it 8 tracks I would get rid of Morning Mr Magpie, move Little by Little to track 2, and make the Butcher track 3. I'd have to give it a bit more thought on how to fit all 10 songs together in a cohesive manner.

I love Radiohead, one of my favourite bands. :)

Kid A and OK Computer are my favourites, followed by The Bends, In Rainbows and Amnesiac. I really like all their albums though apart from Hail to the Thief. Yes, I even like Pablo Honey, it's good alternative rock.

The King of Limbs is a good album. It had me taken by surprise at first, becuase of the sudden announcement and its abstract sound, but it's grown on me slowly. Codex is a beautiful song, one of their best IMO

Don't mess with mah magpie!
Oddly enough I was one of the people "defending" Magpie in the beginning when so many people were hating on it. Now it's my least favorite. But don't you worry, I'll think of a way to make all 10 fit together!

Looks like you are a new member to this site... welcome here! :nice:

And yes, Codex is so prettyyyyyy

Haha, you get easily offended.

Eh... let me think...

1.- The Butcher

2.- Bloom

3.- Morning Mr. Magpie

4.- Little by little

5.- Feral

6.- Supercollider

7.- Lotus Flower

8.- Codex

9.- Give Up The Ghost

10.- Separator (Ugh)

Haha, you get easily offended.

Haha what? I wasn't offended. It takes me oodles to get offended, that's not even close.

I like how you diverted the issue yet again instead of answering the question.

Diverting? Have you heard Feral? At least Like Spinning plates does sound like being covered on piano, Feral is just a bunch of beats and the weird bass line.

It took a little prodding but YAY it looks like I finally got your answer as to why you think it doesn't make sense that they would possibly perform Feral on the piano: it "is just a bunch of beats and a weird bass line." I would agree with that. But then again, it's Radiohead, so I wouldn't be surprised if they figured out a way to do it and blow our minds.

^It's not fighting.

Yeah and basically I have a doubt, when they made the basement session for In Rainbows they played old songs, I'm pretty much expecting Arpeggi to be played again, but yeah?

I feel evil for having not yet watched the entire previous FTB performance.

Is there a best recommended/quality link for the entire thing?

Not on Youtube.

edit: Ah, this one looks decent
