  • Lol I haven't been here in 5 years but I decided to pop my head back in for some nostalgia. Seems like this was my last post so here's an update... I finally saw Radiohead live in Manchester in 2017 a

i showed my mum the FTB performance thinking she might enjoy the music. but she spent the hour saying "what the hell is with that guys eyes? is he on drugs? omg they're all on drugs?" *facepalm*

That sounds like something my mom would say. I had her watch the Le Reservoir Fog (Again) performance and her two comments were:

  • This is so depressing.
  • Why is he wearing all of those wristbands? Does he spend half his time in the hospital?

Feral is a great song. Honestly it's one song I keep going back to to listen to. I still think it's going to be like the Gloaming. It even sounds similar to the From the Basement version.

Speaking of which the From the Basement performance is amazing... one of the highlights of their career. I'm really excited to hear the new songs live.

Okay I've watched the first 25 minutes or so of the full version of FTB and...

I've never been a huge fan of The Gloaming or Myxomatosis, but holy crap seeing this may have just changed my mind. Good lord.

Wow, just watched the FTB performance again..Now I can't wait for July 1!

watching it now :D never gets old. not cos its radiohead. cos its freken awesome.

I keep thinking that they should've kept Nude in either Saitama or Reading to watch a live performance of it... I don't know </3 I know there's a Brazil one but the concert I found doesn't have the best sound quality.

i'm not sure which mega-huge-festival-partial-video i prefer. V Festival 2006 or Reading Festival 2010........

I actually consider those quite average. Thom's Voice wasn't in shape at all. I prefer Glastonbury, even 2003 in which his voice wasn't that great either.

i guess i'm comparing the two for their massiveness rather than quality. cos radiohead aren't stadium trotters like coldplay, U2, muse or other big bands. so it's not always you get to see footage of them playing in front of 80-odd thousand.

The King of Limbs Remixes

Over the summer, Radiohead will be putting out a series of 12” vinyl releases, using remixes of tracks from The King Of Limbs.

The first release on the 4th July, starts with Little By Little by Caribou and Lotus Flower by Jacques Greene.

They will be available at selected independent record stores and from http://www.radiohead.com via The King of Limbs tab.

Four tet rmx plz

I hope so too... all of his remixes have been awesome especially Atoms for Peace

I find it amusing that Fly Lo was like, "oh it's gonna be hard to remix anything off TKOL."

Mmm hmm whatever.

Side note... I found this tweet from Fly Lo shortly after the festival I went to rather amusing:

Dear promoters. U don't gotta look at me all crazy when I ask u for weed. You ought to know who you're booking.
