I did that back in July and I can't remember exactly why I picked that date but there was a good reason

They have Lollapalooza festival today, but they are going to have a lot of free time to rest. They need to give us something soon.

I think we should get an announcement of any kind next week or probably two or three weeks from now!

We'll probably get one on the sunday/monday following Lollapalooza, I don't see any reason why they would still need time. Everything's done, I'd imagine even Up In Flames is. And then the final mixing...

If LP5 drops in October, it's time to start talking about it. They need to create some buzz (the festivals are not enough) if they want the album to be another blockbuster.
