My guess is that it should be out there around the time that Japanese retailers get their copies in. That Monday, the 17th, could be it.

It's in a sealed box with a strict street date when it arrives to the retailers. The box also won't even say COLDPLAY, so I doubt anybody in transition opens the box. If somebody in distribution wants to be ballsy enough to directly shit where they eat, then that's another story.

Exactly. I figure the boxes aren't even delivered til a day or two before anyway, so it's not like they're sitting in storage rooms in the mall or whatever weeks in advance just waiting to be opened.

 

I don't know the stats, but a lot of leaks come from the factories, where people can see what albums they're making and gauge the hype about that album.

mmm I don't know, it's an independent music store, I bought Arctic Monkey's lastest album like a week before the official release and they told me they will probably have MX early too.

Time to have a chat with a couple of local music store owners,lol. I wouldn't feel at all bad about paying for it early!

That's amazing...here I feel like one store would do that, the people that bought it early would Tweet about it or something, and EMI and all the licensing people would get on the case and sue the owners of the shop for everything they're worth, and win.

well if I get it I'll post the booklet pics and stuff, they probably don't care for a store far far away, hopefully the store owner wasn't lying about the MX date :P
